Former Slipknot Drummer Joey Jordison Has Died, The Music World Mourns

Terrible news has come down as original Slipknot drummer, and early key member Joey Jordison has died. He was 46. According to a statement by Joey’s family delivered to Billboard.com, Joey was found dead in his sleep. According to TMZ, Joey‘s family said they will hold a private funeral service for him, but it’s unclear when Jordison also previously led bands such as Scar the Martyr, The Murder Dolls, Sinsaenum, Anal Blast, The Have Nots, and Vimic.He also notably recorded with OTEP and was featured on the now classic Roadrunner United album along with many other guest spots. Joey Jordison Performs An Acoustic Version Of Slipknot’s “(sic)” With Fans In Argentina

After Joey Jordison performed with Vimic at the Monsters Of Rock festival in Buenos Aires, he returned to his hotel where he found a ton of fans waiting outside to meet him. Unlike some musicians who would just go straight inside the hotel, Joey met each and every fan, and even performed an impromptu version of Slipknot‘s ‘(sic)’ with one of the their guitars.
