Gaerea is nothing short of a beautiful enigma rooted in musical extremity and utter passion. In just under a decade, the masked collective, born in the Portuguese town of Porto, has navigated countless darkened shades of metal, post-rock and artistry. Today they usher in a new era with the announcement of their signing to global metal powerhouse Century Media Records. With the signing news comes Gaerea’s powerful label debut “Submerged” alongside its accompanying video which captures a singular being submerged in an ocean of thoughts.
