The Dead Daisies (ex-Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake, Red Phoenix) Drop a Cover of John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom” – New Album Incoming


Australian-American rockers, The Dead Daisies, have rolled out their own hard-hitting take on the John Lee Hooker classic, “Boom Boom.” The track, accompanied by a music video, is the latest single off the band’s upcoming blues album Lookin’ For Trouble, arriving May 30th, via Fame / Malaco Records. Hellfest 2024 Books Metallica, Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Body Count, Biohazard, Mr. Bungle and More


Hellfest, held every year just outside of Paris, in Clisson, France, continues to up the ante every year with forever growing and impressive lineups! Taking place from June 27 to June 30, 2024, Hellfest will once again be four days long and over 200 bands appearing on six stages. For 2024, the headliners for each night will be Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Metallica, and Foo Fighters. ALBUM REVIEW: The Dead Daisies – Holy Ground


A new album and a new singer. The Dead Daisies’ latest album Holy Ground (SPV Steamhammer) is their first with the “voice of rock” Glenn Hughes, and his powerful pipes are a perfect match for the band’s well-honed classic rock. Having been in Deep Purple and more recently Black Country Communion Glenn is no stranger to famous bandmates and supergroups. The lead single ‘Unspoken’ shows that despite the ever-revolving door of bandmates, the music is as thunderous, hooky and rocking as ever.
