Hellfest, held every year just outside of Paris, in Clisson, France, continues to up the ante every year with forever growing and impressive lineups! Taking place from June 27 to June 30, 2024, Hellfest will once again be four days long and over 200 bands appearing on six stages. For 2024, the headliners for each night will be Avenged Sevenfold, Machine Head, Metallica, and Foo Fighters. Graspop Metal Meeting, one of the most acclaimed metal festivals in the world has finalized more names for their 2024 new lineup. Final headliner Alice Cooper has joined the bill with 83 other bands for year 27! Bruce Dickinson, Corey Taylor, Deep Purple, Electric Callboy and Megadeth as part of 130+ other bands. The fest takes place from Thursday 20 June through Sunday 23 June 2024 at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, November 25th at the link below.
Slovenian extreme Metal band Noctiferia is releasing a Laibach tribute album, Reforma, coming out in May on Blood Blast Distribution. For the first single and video – “Now You Will Pay” they enlisted a guest appearance by Metal legend David Vincent (ex-Morbid Angel, I Am Morbid) which is killer. Laibach is one of the most underrated bands of all time and Noctiferia has put their own, brutal stamp on the track, making it a must-hear!
Stars from across Rock and Metal will join together on a livestream to raise money tonight on the David Z Foundation Livestream. David Z (David Zablidowsky) was the brilliant metal and progressive rock musician best known for his work in bands such as Adrenaline Mob, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and ZO2, died three years ago on July 17th, 2017 when a tractor-trailer collided with Adrenaline Mob’s tour bus. Legendary Death Metal frontman, Outlaw Country solo artist and music industry personality David Vincent will release his autobiography in 2020. I Am Morbid was written with best-selling author Joel McIver (Max Cavalera, Bass Player Magazine) and will release via Jawbone Press in February of 2020 in paperback and ebook formats. It will also be available in a deluxe hardcover collector’s edition, strictly limited to 100 copies — of which, full details to be announced soon. Ahead of the book’s publication, David will be touring across Europe with VLTIMAS throughout January and February 2020. Written by Alec Worley, who’s done a huge amount of work with UK publisher 2000 A.D., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nickelodeon, and Star Wars.
