Prong Share Single and Video for “The Descent” – New Album Incoming
Following their latest singles, “Breaking Point” and “Non Existence”, Prong have just released “The Descent”, with its new music video. All three come from their 13th album, State Of Emergency, due out October 06th on Steamhammer/SPV records. CONCERT REVIEW: Metallica – Pantera – Mammoth WVH – Prong Live at MetLife Stadium
The Metallica Family descended on New Jersey from all around the world for the kickoff date of the 2024 North American tour of Metallica’s M72 tour. On the back of the excellent 72 Seasons album released this spring on Blackened Recordings (read our review here). Reports from the European tour were high, especially their impressive turn at Download Festival. The two shows, per city, no repeats in the setlist is matched only in its ambition by the incredible in-the-round staging and all weekend-long Metallica Takeover events, including pop-shops, a Metallica film festival, side concerts with Metallica-related bands, a Ross Halfin photo book Q & A book signing and more.

Industrial metal — of a recognisably early 90s style — lives on in 2022 in the form of Body Prophecy (20 Buck Spin) by Oklahoma’s Black Magnet. Following up Hallucination Scene — the project’s debut album — this latest release arrives with more than a casual nod to Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, and Godflesh (from which Justin K.
