It comes as no surprise that this year’s Aftershock Festival was once again sold out. I mean, how could it not with big-name talents such as Slipknot, Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Blink-182, Lamb of God, Dropkick Murphys, Marilyn Manson, Bad Religion, Chevelle, and many others. And with the über-early announcement of next year’s headliner—Metallica, for those of you living under a rock—there’s no question that 2020’s Aftershock will sell out as well. Ramblin Man Fair 2020 has made a major announcement for the festival announcing Hawkwind to paly a special 50th anniversary set on the Grooverider Stage, as well as sets from Monster Truck, Vintage Caravan, The New Death Cult, and Crown Lands. FESTIVAL PREVIEW: Exit 111 Festival

The inaugural Exit 111 Festival takes place starting today at Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee — the home of Bonnaroo — October 11 – 13. Ghost Cult is honored to be a part of this historic event! Headlined by Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard and Lynyrd Skynyrd, with appearances by Slayer, ZZ Top, Deftones, Megadeth, Mastodon, Coheed & Cambria, Blackberry Smoke, Ministry, Cheap Trick, Killswitch Engage, Seether, Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society and many more! The Ripple Music label continues to impact the underground heavy music world in 2019 with great releases and future-legend status bands joining the roster. The label will celebrate in style at Ripple Fest UK in London next month. Dead Kennedys Added To Final 2019 Muddy Roots Music Festival Lineup

Political Punk legends Dead Kennedys have been added as a last-minute addition to Muddy Roots Music Festival. The group, featuring members Klaus Fluoride, East Bay Ray, Ron “Skip” Greer, and D.H. Peligro, will hit the Muddy Roots Truck Stage in Cookeville, Tennessee on Saturday, August 31st. Dead Kennedys join a wide-ranging lineup from punk, metal, roots music, and even some hip-hop fans squeal in unified delight. This year’s event, which will take place from August 30th to September 1st, boasts sets from almost 80 bands, including appearances from MC50, the new incarnation of Wayne Kramer’s MC5, and GZA of Wu-Tang Clan fame who will perform with a live band. The MC50 band includes Kim Thayil (Soundgarden), Brendan Canty (Fugazi), Billy Gould (Faith No More), and Marcus Durant (Zen Guerilla). GZA’s backing band is led by Ramsey Jones, older brother of the late ODB of the Wu-Tang Clan. John Garcia and Nick Oliveri, both formerly of Kyuss will appear with their respective new projects, California punk band Face to Face, Fishbone, alt-country outlaws like Sarah Shook & The Disarmers and Mike and The Moonpies, Possessed By Paul James and The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band and many more.
