Tekkno… it’s not just a genre of music but it’s also the name of the world tour that is taking over the entire planet right now. Electric Callboy, Solence, and Conquer Divide rolled into Boston, MA this past week for the Tekkno World Tour. and let me just say this, this is the most fun I’ve ever had covering a show in my entire life so I’m not going to waste my time or your time so let’s jump right in!
Hailing from the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, Metalcore quintet Conquer Divide has come back together in Atlanta to record their long-awaited second full-length album, Slow Burn (Mascot Records). Slow Burn presents a balanced, cohesive collection of songs while also throwing the frequent curveball – ones that don’t throw the direction off track, but rather launch it forward into expanded territories.
Pantera, Tool, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold will headline the 2023 edition of the Welcome To Rockville festival, set to take place May 18-21 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Also scheduled to appear are Deftones, Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Evanescence, Incubus, Queens Of The Stone Age, Alice Cooper, Chevelle, and Coheed & Cambria, among many others. Considering many people’s initial exposure to German act Electric Callboy was down to the unforgettably bonkers video to 2020’s breakthrough hit ‘Hypa Hypa’, it might come as a surprise to some that the electronicore/metalcore act from Castrop-Rauxel has been around for twelve years and that latest album TEKKNO (Century Media) is actually their sixth full length studio release.

A Skylit Drive joins The All Stars Tour this summer for a 20 show run of dates kicking off on Jul 17th a t Alamo City Music Hall in San Antonio TX, and ending in on Aug 16th at Empire Bar, in Austin TX. The tour features headliners Upon A Burning Body and Dance Gavin Dance. Also joining on the tour are IWrestledABearOnce, Within The Ruins, Oceano, Dayshell, Come The Dawn, Chasing Safety, and Conquer Divide. A Skylit Drive continues to tour behind 2013’s Rise (Tragic Hero Records) album.

Alesana is streaming their newest album Confessions, which will be released on April 21, 2015 via Revival Recordings. The album was recorded at Raleigh, NC’s Adelaide Studios with Producer Shawn Milke (Alesana) and Engineer Neil Engle (Dance Gavin Dance, The Funeral Portrait, A Skylit Drive).
In support of Confessions, they are currently on a nationwode tour with Capture The Crown, The Browning, Conquer Divide, and The Funeral Portrait.
