Long-running rockers The Picturebooks have shared a new single “Holy Ghost,” featuring Jon Harvey (Monster Truck). The song comes from their forthcoming new album The Major Minor Collective, due out September 3rd, 2021 via Century Media. Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Limp Bizkit, and More Confirmed for Blue Ridge Rock Festival

Quickly shaping up to be the biggest music festival in the USA this year, Blue Ridge Rock festival has announced their full line-up of 180 bands. Headlining the massive 4 day festival are Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and Limp Bizkit. There is a special club warm up show which includes headliner Ludacris, T-Pain, and Lil Jon. Also on tap: the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue, a vaudeville freak show of wonder by Hellzapoppin’s Ringleader and Producer, Mr. Bryce “The Govna” Graves. In addition, excitingly, the festival will be hosted by Steve-O (MTV’s Jackass); and special guest Lou Brutus (SiriusXM). The fest takes place September 9th – 12th at Blue Ridge Amphitheater, a long-awaited large-scale concert venue in Southwest Virginia. Clutch to Release “The Weathermaker Vault Series” Full Album

Clutch is bringing together their ongoing series of deep cuts and classics re-recordings, mixed with some covers from their “The Weathermaker Vault Series” into a full release. They made an announcement on social media. Weathermaker Music is now releasing a ten-track physical album on CD and 12-inch vinyl as The Weathermaker Vault Series Vol. I. The album will contain one previously unreleased track, a Spanish-language cover version of “Algo Ha Cambiado”, a hard-rocking shuffle written by the legendary blues-rock guitarist Norberto Napolitano affectionately known as Pappo of blues metal band Pappos Blues. The CD and the digital album version will be released on November 27. A 12-inch colored vinyl (Opaque White) LP version will be available in the new year. Clutch has also had a vinyl boxed set and other archival type releases in 2020. They are working on new music, the follow up to their last album, Book Of Bad Decisions.

Like Clutch, Black Stone Cherry do not make bad albums and this new one – their seventh – is another example of this.

Clutch Shares New Single “Passive Restraints” Featuring Randy Blythe From Lamb Of God

Clutch has released their new single “Passive Restraints” today. “Passive Restraints” originally appeared as the title track to the band’s 2nd EP released in 1992. This newly recorded version is part of the Weathermaker Vault Series and features guest vocals by Randy Blythe from Lamb of God. Clutch and Blythe have collaborated on this track live for several years now, the last time at European festival appearances in summer 2019. Clutch Announces “The Obelisk” Twelve LP Boxed Set for Record Store Day

Clutch announces a special new LP boxed set for Record Store Day drop #3, THe Obelisk, due this Saturday, October 24th via Weathermaker Music. The limited-edition set includes 12 LPs, a Turntable Slipmat, Signed Lithograph, all exclusives. The Obelisk is a box set that consists of all of Clutch’s Weathermaker Music vinyl releases. There are six doj um7t. In addition, the box contains a turntable mat and a square, artist signed lithograph. The rigid box has a magnetic closure and the silver foil is stamped on black Sierra cloth. This is a premium collector’s item and only 2000 exist in the world. Clutch released their twelfth studio album, Book of Bad Decisions, through their own Weathermaker Music in 2018

Clutch’s 2020 Festival Summer Continues Online!

Since Clutch is missing bringing their pure rock fury live to fans at summer music festivals worldwide, the band is turning their missed shows into a virtual festival online. Clutch has reached out to all promoters of their originally scheduled European festival dates and proposed to release playlists on their Spotify channel of the sets they were set to perform on the respective days. For all of their 25+ year career, the band have always changed the setlist of their live shows from one event to another. No performances were ever identical; setlists change nightly. Members of Clutch use an alphabetical, rotating system to determine the setlist for each show. Neil Fallon creates the setlist for the first show of each tour, followed by Jean-Paul Gaster, Dan Maines, and Tim Sult, then repeat, keeping the shows fresh for both the audience and the artist! The creation of these new Spotify playlists will rotate between the band members like normal, taking into account the intended allotted playing time at each festival date.
