The Rock For Ronnie Concert in the Park will take place on Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023 at Los Encinos Historic Park in Encino, benefiting the. Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund (https://www.diocancerfund.org). The Rock For Ronnie event, slated to be an afternoon of live rock music, silent and live auctions, food trucks and fun geared to the entire family, is the cancer charity’s first post-Covid event back in the park. The event just named a who’s who of Rock and Heavy Metal luminaries for the finale/all-star jam.

Act of Defiance Drops Off of Death Angel Tour

With the news that Chris Broderick will continue to fill in for In Flames guitarist Niclas Engelin, Act of Defiance has dropped off their upcoming tour with Death Angel. Conscious of the disappointing news, Broderick posted to the Act of Defiance Facebook with a message to fans. Overkill Books Headline Tour, Death Angel And Act of Defiance to Open

New Jersey-bred Thrash Metal legends Overkill have announced The Wings Over USA 2019 tour. Kicking off on April 25th in Baltimore, the tour will make stops in Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Nashville before concluding in Boston on May 11th. Joining the tour are none other than Death Angel and Act Of Defiance (ex-members of Megadeth, Shadows Fall, and Scar The Martyr). Life of Agony wil be the special guests at the New York City show. Starting in Denver, CO where the band will play the first of four headlining shows before joining Armored Saint on their previously announced Symbol Of Salvation tour beginning July 10th in Poughkeepsie, NY. Act of Defiance includes in its ranks Chris Broderick (ex-Megadeth), Shawn Drover (ex-Megadeth), Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall, Times Of Grace), and Henry Derek (Scar The Martyr).
