REVIEW: Gloryhammer – Beast In Black: Live at The Mill, Birmingham


Greeted with a queue that stretches the length of the entire street and beyond, the nearest many get to seeing Italian Dwarven Metal act Wind Rose is listening to them from outside. ‘The Breed of Durin’, ‘To Erebor’, and of course ‘Diggy Diggy Hole’ sound like they’re going down well, but it’s disappointing that a large percentage of the crowd has to miss most of their set.Continue reading


Cage Books Mini Tour of Europe, Album Reissues Incoming


 

Long runnig, SoCal Heavy metal band Cage have announced two new exciting releases and a European mini tour. Their fifth studio album has been remixed, remastered, and partially re-recorded to modern day standards, and is being called Science of Annihilation Re-Annihilated and the digipak will be released November 15, 2019 through Steel Cartel and features brand new cover art and two unreleased bonus tracks. Wolf To Release New Album “Feeding The Machine”, in 2020, Announces New Members


Swedish Heavy Metallers Wolf is back! Feeding The Machine released on Century Media Records on March 13, 2020, and will feature new band members Johan Koleberg on drums and Pontus Egberg on bass guitar. The album is being produced by WOLF’s Simon Johansson at SolnaSound Production and will be mixed by Fredrik Nordström of Studio Fredman. The artwork once again has been painted by legendary artist Thomas Holm (King Diamond, Mercyful Fate), will be shared soon with more album details.

After Ghost Cult broke the news yesterday, Judas Priest legend Rob Halford confirmed he will release an all-new album, dubbed Celestial, credited to Rob Halford with Family and Friends, due out October 18th via Legacy Recordings. Cwn Annwn – Patron Saint


According to Welsh folklore, Cŵn Annwn (probably not pronounced the way you’re currently trying to say it) were spectral hounds from the mythical otherworld of Annwn. The creatures were dubbed “hounds of hell” by Christians, although Annwn was actually less of an infernal landscape full of pitchforks and torture, and more of a heavenly afterlife of eternal youth and plenty.
