Bloodstock Open Air is barreling into 2020 by adding a bunch of new bands to the bill. Hatebreed, Bury Tomorrow, Sylosis, Toxic Holocaust, Winterfylleth, Exhumed, and Necrot have all joined the bill! Bloodstock’s 2020 main stage headliners are Devin Townsend (Friday), Behemoth (Saturday), And Judas Priest (Sunday). The festival also welcomes Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Skindred, Paradise Lost, Life Of Agony, Black Dahlia Murder, Diamond Head, Jinjer, Vio-Lence, Sacred Reich, Gloryhammer, Dark Tranquility, Butcher Babies, Cattle Decapitation, Bloodywood, Memoriam, Ramage Inc, Green Lung, & Bossk so far. In addition, new bands on the bill include Saxon, Orange Goblin, Conjurer, The Night Flight Orchestra, and Unleash the Archers to an already crushing lineup. Bloodstock Open Air has announced the headliners and other bands for their The Sophie Lancaster Stage added a bunch of new bands Bloodywood, Cattle Decapitation, Memoriam, Ramage Inc., Green Lung, and Bossk to the 2020 edition of the festival. The fest already includes main stage headliners are Devin Townsend (Friday), Behemoth (Saturday), and Judas Priest (Sunday). The festival also welcomes Philip H. It comes as no surprise that this year’s Aftershock Festival was once again sold out. I mean, how could it not with big-name talents such as Slipknot, Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Blink-182, Lamb of God, Dropkick Murphys, Marilyn Manson, Bad Religion, Chevelle, and many others. And with the über-early announcement of next year’s headliner—Metallica, for those of you living under a rock—there’s no question that 2020’s Aftershock will sell out as well. Slayer Plays Final European Show in Germany, Final US Tour Dates Incoming


Slayer played their final show ever in Europe last night (Saturday, August 3) at Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, Germany. The band has spent all summer performing at European festivals and headline shows, such as last night with Anthrax and Alien Weaponry. Slayer’s “The Final Campaign”, the seventh and final leg of its farewell world tour will kick off in November. This tour starts at the ExploreAsheville Arena in Asheville, North Carolina, and see the band taking its goodbye bow at the Los Angeles Forum on November 30. Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals performing a “vulgar display of Pantera”, will be the support acts on all dates.Continue reading

Child Bite Set To Kick Off New Tour Dates This Week At Days Of Darkness Fest

Crusty hardcore band Child Bite are setting off on a new round of tour dates later this week. The Detroit band will play this weekend at the Days Of Darkness and then work their way ou west and back again. Days of Darkness 2 takes place in Baltimore, Maryland with Child Bite set to play Baltimore Soundstage on Sunday, October 28th alongside the likes of Rome, Bang, Satan’s Satyrs, and many more. Then they will play Canton, Ohio with Night Goat before joining labelmates Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals for a West Coast tour from November 1st through November 20th. Continue reading
