Spiritbox Share Their Single and Video “No Loss, No Love” – New Album Coming Soon


Progressive metallers, Spiritbox, have just shared their latest single, “No Loss, No Love,” along with an official music video. It was produced by Dan Braunstein with the band’s own Mike Stringer, and is taken from their upcoming second album, Tsunami Sea. CONCERT REVIEW: Knocked Loose – Show Me The Body – Loathe – Speed Live at Showbox Sodo


It is an odd thing to see bands on the rise. At capacity, Showbox Sodo in Seattle holds 1,800 people. To see Knocked Loose, Show Me The Body, Loathe, and Speed there for the Weapon of Choice Tour, is something is incredible to imagine. I have been to that venue many times, and of those, few were sold out. Still, the night was thick with hardcore energy and the venue floor filled up quickly.Continue reading

Kentucky hardcore/death band, Knocked Loose, have unleashed their new single, “Don’t Reach For Me,” alongside a video directed and produced by Max Moore. It comes from their new album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which is due out May 10th on Pure Noise Records. Just before it arrives, Knocked Loose take on a headlining tour in North America, starting April 27th at Sick New World in Las Vegas. When Capra burst onto the Hardcore scene back in 2021 with their debut album, In Transmission, they displayed whole-heartedly, what the best things are about the subgenre today. Riffs that make you want to start chaos wherever you go, and the emotive vocals from Crow Lotus, made Capra one of the stand-out newcomers in 2021.

FESTIVAL REVIEW: ArcTanGent Festival 2023 Live at Fernhill Farm


 

ArcTanGent Festival, a yearly outdoor four-day fixture at Fernhill Farm near Bristol, attracts a devoted following to its niche yet eclectic lineups of artists who generally have an association with post-rock, progressive metal, or experimental rock. It’s “sort of” a metal festival, but the range of acts it showcases steers towards the more left-field and eccentric end of heavy music and at times stretches beyond what could reasonably even be labelled as “rock”.
