Roadburn Is Sold Out For 2019, Kicks Off This Week With Pre-Party Show

Roadburn 2019 takes place later this week in Tilburg, NL, and the fest is totally sold out. The legendary music festival looks to mint more memories this year with more can’t miss acts, commissioned works, and major artists like Sleep, At The Gates, Thou, Cave In, Old Man Glood, Daughters, Myrkur and more performing in intimate settings you won’t see at any other festival. The fest kicks off with the pre-party at the renamed Ignition (formerly Green Room) with Temple Fang (ex-Death Alley), Hellripper and Great Grief. The event is free to attend and starts at 8:30 PM. Daughters, Big Brave and Container Live at The Sinclair

On the heels of their new release, You Won’t Get What You Want, and a constant flood of emails and ads promoting it, I decided to go to the sold out Daughters show at The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA on March 12th. On paper this is a band that I would think would be interesting and some of the songs on their albums I found to be just that, interesting. Live, however, I found it to be a much different thing, at least for me, but definitely not for the hundreds in attendance who clearly had a good time.Continue reading →

Brutal Assault 2019 has added another bunch of bands for the next edition of the festival! New bands added include Parkway Drive, Azusa, Nordjevel, Combichrist, Caspian, Violent Magic Orchestra, Caspian, Déluge, Frog Leap, and Hexis. the bill with more to come. One-hundred and thirty bands will play in the ancient and legendary Josefov Fortress castle on four stages all weekend from 7 -10 August 2019. Roadburn 2019 is already sold out for the entire four-day weekend, but they have added another and final round of amazing bands. Craft (added by Tomas Lindberg to his curated event), Bosse-De-Nage, Street Sects, Glerakur, MJ Guider (Melissa Guion), L’acéphale, and Grey Aura have been added to the main weekend acts.
