Heavy Group Presents Heavy Music Awards 2023 Announces Milestone Show Hosted at London’s Iconic OVO Arena Wembley
Heavy Group announces the return of the Heavy Music Awards (HMA) and the arrival of its spectacular new home for 2023, the OVO Arena Wembley on Friday 26 May. Since its inception in 2017, the HMAs has recognised the most influential and groundbreaking creatives in the heavy music landscape and certified itself as a staple of the heavy music awards calendar, with a move to OVO Arena Wembley now cementing the event as the largest rock music awards ceremony ever.
EP REVIEW: Void of Vision – Chronicles II: Heaven
It seems like it’s been an age since the first chapter of Void of Vision Chronicles EPs. Lust showed a band wanting to look outiside of their subgenres bubble in search of new and exciting sounds to bring to the table. Chapter 2 of their saga, Heaven (UNFD) continues on that trend in spades, showing how the band have developed since 2021 and what kind of mark they are trying to make on the scene.

We all lived through it. Some of us in un-splendid isolation. Some of us irreversibly overhauling the way we live, work, and support our dependents. KISS, Biffy Clyro, System Of A Down and More Booked for Download Festival 2021
Download Festival will return for 2021, featuring headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro, and System Of A Down and many more bands including A Day To Remember, Mastodon, Control The Storm, Gender Roles, Jamie Lenman, Myles Kennedy & Company, Deftones, Korn, The Distillers, Steel Panther, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Darkness, Black Veil Brides, Creeper, Alestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Seventy-three bands in all have been announced! Tickets go on sale on August 7th at 9 AM GMT. More bands have yet to be announced. The three-day festival takes place on 4-6 June 2021 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. Tickets will go on sale at this link here. Continue reading
Download Festival Online Adds Biffy Clyro and Grey Daze World Premiere for This Weekend
Download Festival, the UK’s premier rock event, will air Download TV this weekend only via Download Festival’s official social channels, and YouTube across 12-14 June 2020. Tune in or miss out. Joining headliners KISS, Iron Maiden, and System Of A Down, as well as acts such as Korn, Deftones, Babymetal, Alter Bridge, The Darkness, Volbeat, Creeper, and more, are the incredible Biffy Clyro who headlined in 2017 alongside System Of A Down. Download 2020 Recast as a Virtual Festival with Iron Maiden, System of A Down, KISS and More
Download Festival was one of the first major festivals in the heavy music work canceled due o the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Now we are getting a virtual festival set to take place. Mark off June 12-14 for some prime rock and metal viewing, with many top acts taking part. The Download TV weekend will be split into day and evening programming, with tailor-made shows featuring Iron Maiden, System of a Down and KISS leading the way. KISS will headline the Friday (June 12) festivities, with a replay of standout moments from their huge 2015 headline set. Iron Maiden head up the Saturday (June 13) programming with nostalgic performances, “Legacy of the Beast” snippets, as well as “something just for Download TV.” And System of a Down will close out the virtual festival on Sunday (June 14) with footage from their performances in 2005, 2011 and 2017. Among the other bands appearing are Alter Bridge, Alestorm, Alter Bridge, Babymetal, Baroness, Bush, Creeper, Deftones, Disturbed, Employed To Serve, Fozzy, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Gojira, Killswitch Engage, Korn,Lacuna Coil, Mastodon, The Pretty Reckless, Twin Temple, Volbeat and more.
