Deftones’ wildly successful Dios De Los Deftones festival last fall has spawned a sequel! DDLD2 will feature Deftones heading up a bill featuring Chvrches, Gojira, JpgMafia, Hum, Youth Code, and Brutus. The fest takes place November 2nd at Petco Park in San Diego, California. Deftones are currently pressing towards the release of their ninth album later this year. Tickets start at $75 and are available at Ticketmaster.com. Music reviewers are inherently sceptical and often contrarian creatures, so when an artist arrives carrying plaudits from the grandees of heavy music, it’s hard not to default to cynicism.
