Only a couple of years ago it seemed like the presence of American Black Metal legends Wolves In The Throne Room on UK shores would become a fleeting experience, if indeed it occurred again. Following a UK tour in 2011 and then an All The Party’s appearance the following year, it would then be five years until the band would eventually return in support of latest album Thrice Woven (Artemisia) with a much anticipated UK tour. Ozzy, Judas Priest, Meshuggah And Myrkur Among The Winners At The Golden Gods Awards
Last night Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Meshuggah, Myrkur, Maynard James Keenan, Jessica Pimentel and many more took home the statues at the 16th annual Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. Hosted by Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta and saw Carpenter Brut, Myrkur, Meshuggah, Baroness and Parkway Drive perform in front of a packed crowd at Indigo at the O2 in London. Ozzy won the evening’s top award, fittingly the Golden God Award in service to his solo career in music. Continue reading

Neurosis Books A European Tour This Summer
Long-running post-metal legends Neurosis announced a headline tour of Europe this summer. In addition, they will appear at major European music festivals such as Copenhell, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Hellfest. UPDATE: Psycho Las Vegas Lineup Change, YAITW No Longer On The Bill
As Ghost Cult announced last week the 2018 Psycho Las Vegas festival will be taking place from August 17th-19th at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The lineup promised to be a banger, with one notable change, Young And In The Way (YAITW) have canceled their appearance at the fest due to their impending breakup. They were to have played the pre-festival pool party event on August 16th. The festival will announce a replacement soon. Continue reading
