70000Tons Of Metal, the original, and world’s biggest heavy metal cruise, has announced a change in the destination for 2026. The upcoming edition of the festival at sea, taking place from January 29 to February 2, 2026, will now sail from Miami, Florida to Nassau, the Bahamas aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas. Organisers have also announced the first 27 bands for this year’s bill, including Kamelot, Amorphis, Dark Tranquility, Firewind, Vio-Lence, Heathen, Eluveitie, Insomnium, and more. October 9th, 2009. That was the last time I saw Dragonforce live, with Sonata Arctica and Taking Dawn so needless to say, I was very excited for this show… in the same venue as last time, no less! Added only to the fact that this tour has been on the minds of everyone that originally planned to see it last year when Unleash The Archers were on the bill, but we now have Firewind, Visions of Atlantis, and New England based titans Seven Spires to look forward to. Let’s stop wasting time and get into this symphonic and power-metal night of fun.

Amaranthe Forced to Cancel Their North American Tour 


Amaranthe, who recently announced their sixth studio album will be released this fall via Nuclear Blast Records, has been forced to cancel their North American tour. With the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic their upcoming North American 2020 tour is canceled. The tour was to have also featured Battle Beast and Seven Spires. All ticket holders will be refunded by the service where they made the purchase. Please note the promoters are working diligently to refund the payments in a timely manner and appreciate ticket holders patience during the process.
