Magnetic Eye Records and Blues Funeral Recordings are hosting a Day of Doom Livestream on May 15th, 2021!  The event serves as a virtual sequel to Magnetic Eye’s massive Day of Doom Live label showcase at Saint Vitus Bar in 2019. Bands performing includes Domkraft, Heavy Temple, Somnuri, Howling Giant, and Caustic Casanova. RPM Fest Announces Inter Arma, Psychostick, Mobile Deathcamp, and The Absence to Complete Their Lineup


RPM Fest, the western Massachusetts-based, fiercely independent, all-ages (those under 18 must be with a parent or guardian) weekend of DIY metal music and camping has completed their final 2019 lineup with a series of reveals across social media. I had to take a moment when Desertfest New York was announced. I only had gotten to experience a real European Festival once in the last few years of my life and it was a game changer. Yet, I had yet to enjoy a Desertfest yet. The excitement I felt getting have this festival come practically to my backyard, and into two clubs I visit with regularity was just icing on the cake. Morne, Cloud Rat, Chepang, Heavy Temple, Booked For Black Flags Over Brooklyn


Black Flags Over Brooklyn 2019 will be New York’s first-ever anti-fascist extreme metal festival! They have announced their full lineup for their show taking place Friday, January 25th and Saturday, January 26th at Brooklyn Bazaar. The Friday night show will be followed by an all-day Saturday event that will include an all-day vendor market of band merch, label distros, radical publishers, activist organizations, local artisans, and more. Fifteen bands from all over the world will play including Dawn Ray’d, Cloud Rat, Racetraitor, Ragana, Vile Creature, Closet Witch, Morne, Chepang, Whitephosphorous, Sunrot, Trophy Hunt, Heavy Temple, Axebreaker, and Niuta are all set to play.
