The first full-length studio release from Trøndelag Folk act Gåte since they represented their country at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, Sigil (Season of Mist) finds the band in familiar territory, drawing on ancient Norwegian myths, stories, and legends.
After nearly a decade between releases, Songleikr returns with a new album, Fuglefolk (Self-Released), a heartfelt and playful collection that leans heavily into original material. While Godtfolk (2016) drew deeply from traditional sources, Fuglefolk is almost entirely self-composed, showcasing richer instrumentation and a more progressive spirit.
The lineup features Maria Franz (also known for her work with Heilung and Euzen), Ingrid Galadriel Aune Falch, Kasia Sikora-Black, and Petter-Olai Østbye Sagen.
