Author and Promoter Estevan Vega of Capulet Entertainment joins Ghost Cult Keefy to chat about the upcoming Capulet Fest 2023. The fest takes place at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, Connecticut July 1 and 2nd, and features Memphis May Fire, Norma Jean, All That Remains, Anberlin, A Skylit Drive, Emery, Within The Ruins, and many more!  We chatted with Estevan about his ten-year journey booking shows and now festivals, what it takes to book a festival and do it professionally, his career as an author, and more!

Capulet Fest 2023 Books Memphis May Fire, Norma Jean, All That Remains, Anberlin, A Skylit Drive, Emery, Within The Ruins and More

Capulet Festival returns to Connecticut this summer for an even bigger event than ever before. Taking place at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Thompson, Connecticut July 1 and 2nd, the first features a ton of Metal, Metalcore, and post-Hardcore bands. Headlining the fest are Memphis May Fire and Norma Jean on night one, and All That Remains and Anberlin on night 2. They will be joined by A Skylit Drive, Emery, A Skylit Drive (playing Wires in full), Secrets, For the Fallen Dreams, Until I Wake, Famous Last Words, Catch Your Breath, Spoken, Outline in Color, Set for the Fall, Versus Me, Saul, Nerv, Awake at Last, VRSTY, Dead By Wednesday, Nowhere Left, and Magnets for Maniacs on night one. Night two also features Woe is Me, Savage Hands, Picturesque, Within the Ruins, Convictions, Any Given Sin, Dreamwake, Horizon Theory, Kingsmen, Uncured, Kill the Imposter, Rise Among Rivals, Destroy / Create, Little Us, Saved By Skarlet, and Gina Fritz.

Look, this is a genuine effort to fend off waves of tweets and horseshit comments like “well, everybody in metal borrows from somebody” or “not everybody is reinventing the wheel.” As someone who’s only been listening to extreme music for the last twenty-five years, I think I get it. FESTIVAL RECAP: Blue Ridge Rock Fest – Blue Ridge Amphitheater – Danville, Virginia


Massive music festivals are commonplace now, but they were far and few between fifty years ago. They are hard to produce well, but can be great moments in time for fans and musical artists. Longtime bassist and tour manager Aaron “Bubble” Patrick announced his exit from All That Remains. The split is amicable. The band shared the news in a social media post on September 19th, 2021. Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Limp Bizkit, and More Confirmed for Blue Ridge Rock Festival


Quickly shaping up to be the biggest music festival in the USA this year, Blue Ridge Rock festival has announced their full line-up of 180 bands. Headlining the massive 4 day festival are  Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and Limp Bizkit. There is a special club warm up show which includes headliner Ludacris, T-Pain, and Lil Jon. Also on tap: the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue, a vaudeville freak show of wonder by Hellzapoppin’s Ringleader and Producer, Mr. Bryce “The Govna” Graves. In addition, excitingly, the festival will be hosted by Steve-O (MTV’s Jackass); and special guest Lou Brutus (SiriusXM).  The fest takes place September 9th – 12th at Blue Ridge Amphitheater, a long-awaited large-scale concert venue in Southwest Virginia.  Tickets are on sale now at the link below and here is the full lineup:
