Pantera is The First Announced Headliner for Aftershock Festival 2023


 

Pantera – paying tribute to the classic 1990s metal band, will be one of the headliners of Aftershock Sacramento 2023, as part of the Danny Wimmer Presents Festivals. The current lineup of the band features Pantera mainstays Philip Anselmo, and Rex Brown, with Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante. Taking place at Discovery Park in October, weekend passes are on sale now! Many more bands will be announced soon! Pantera just completed a tour of Mexico and South America, will play other American festivals, and will open for Metallica on select dates of the 72 Seasons World Tour, and many more to come.

Zeal and Ardor Books a North American Tour with Sylvaine and Imperial Triumphant

Zeal & Ardor have booked a North America tour for this summer and fall as headliners. The tour kicks off September 11th in Brooklyn and runs through October 7th in Berkeley, California, and includes stops in Canada. The band will also appear at this year’s Aftershock Festival on October 8th. Direct support will come from Sylvaine and Imperial Triumphant. Tickets go on sale at 10 am local time on Thursday, June 30th at the links below.

CONCERT REVIEW: The Bay Strikes Back Tour: Testament –  Exodus – Death Angel live at Newport Music Hall. 


The Bay Strikes Back Tour – Testament, Exodus, and Death Angel – brought a massive dose of thrash to the edge of the Ohio State University campus on Wednesday night with their stop at the Newport Music Hall. The tour celebrates the origins of thrash metal stretching back to the late 1970s and early 1980s. It is incredible that these three bands are still standing on the stage and belting out their music for long-time and new fans alike.
