Trivium Has Announced Their Next Album – “In The Court Of The Dragon”


Modern Metal leaders Trivium has announced their next album title will be In The Court Of The Dragon, dropping on on October 8th, 2021 via Roadrunner Records. The record was produced and mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Killer Be Killed, Parkway Drive) and recorded in the Fall of 2020 at Full Sail University in Orlando. ALBUM REVIEW: Sepultura – Sepulquarta


Not content with sitting on their hands, Brazilian thrashers Sepultura decided early on during the Coronavirus Lockdown to do something constructive with their new found spare time. After touring plans for their current record were cut short by the pandemic, the band contacted seemingly everybody in the world of metal and proceeded to embark upon Sepulquarta (Nuclear Blast), a live album recorded with each member in isolation.

Trivium Shares New Photos of Their “Airplane Hangar” Compound


Trivium recently shared their first new single and video from their expected next album, “In The Court Of The Dragon.” The track and video also feature an epic intro composed and orchestrated by Ihsahn (Emperor). Now the band has shared images from their compound, based in an abandoned airplane hangar in Flordia. The band made news at the height of the pandemic in 2020 – buying the hangar to convert it into a recording studio, Metallica-style HQ, and streaming venue/video production stage with their earnings from their very first livestream. The band — Matt Heafy [vocals, guitar], Corey Beaulieu [guitar], Paolo Gregoletto [bass], and Alex Bent [drums] has been influential in validating livestreams and streaming economy in general for being a legit way for bands to augment their revenue in the face of the global shutdown. Matthew Heafy of Trivium Joins the Board of Directors of Stack Up


Matthew “Kiichichaos” Heafy, frontman of Trivium, has joined the Board of Directors of Stack Up, a military charity 501(c)3 military charity dedicated to supporting US and Allied Veterans’ mental health through gaming and working to end the epidemic of veteran suicide. Heafy, the son of a US Marine Corps veteran, has sold millions of records and runs the top music channel on Twitch, where he has raised thousands of dollars for Stack Up. As part of the board, Heafy will guide Stack Up as it expands its mission to provide Supply Crate gaming care packages and round-the-clock mental health support to recuperating veterans and active duty servicemembers through the Stack Up Overwatch Program (StOP).

Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Limp Bizkit, and More Confirmed for Blue Ridge Rock Festival


Quickly shaping up to be the biggest music festival in the USA this year, Blue Ridge Rock festival has announced their full line-up of 180 bands. Headlining the massive 4 day festival are Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and Limp Bizkit. There is a special club warm up show which includes headliner Ludacris, T-Pain, and Lil Jon. Also on tap: the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue, a vaudeville freak show of wonder by Hellzapoppin’s Ringleader and Producer, Mr. Bryce “The Govna” Graves. In addition, excitingly, the festival will be hosted by Steve-O (MTV’s Jackass); and special guest Lou Brutus (SiriusXM). The fest takes place September 9th – 12th at Blue Ridge Amphitheater, a long-awaited large-scale concert venue in Southwest Virginia. Slipknot, Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium and More Booked for Knotfest Iowa 2021


 


As usual, Slipknot does what other bands cannot. The band is bringing back their Knotfest event back home as Knotfest Iowa this September and it features a ton of bands such as The full line-up features Slipknot headlining, with Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium, Tech N9ne, FEVER 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper, and Vended. The event will be the biggest heavy music festival to ever hit the mid-western state and will be held at National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, IA, on Saturday, September 25th. Tickets will be available on pre-sale to Knotfest.com subscribers from 10am Central time on today (Tues, May 25th), with a general on-sale from 10am Central on June 4th, at the link below. Slipknot has also announced they have returned to the studio to record their new album.
