Megadeth’s Megacruise has just announced new bands, The current lineup is now augmented by Queensryche, Suicidal Tendencies, Death Angel, Sacred Reich and Toothgrinder joining Anthrax, Testament, Dragonforce, Overkill, Corrosion Of Conformity, Devildriver, Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, Doro, Armored Saint, John 5, Metal Church, Danko Jones, Beastö Blancö and Metalachi. Megadeth tribute band Mechanix will also take part in the cruise, hand selected by Dave Mustaine himself. In addition, Official Cruise Hosts Eddie Trunk (VH1, SiriusXM, Axs), Luc Carl (SiriusXM) and Jose Mangin (SiriusXM) will be moderating Q&As and events.  Departing out of Los Angeles aboard the Norwegian Jewel, the five-day/five-night full ship charter cruise will set sail October 13-18, 2019, visiting two ports of call (Ensenada, Mexico and San Diego, California) and host two heavy metal-filled days of music and events. The cruise will also feature an optional pre-cruise party in Los Angeles (details to be announced). Cabins start at $1,349 per person (double occupancy). Suicidal Tendencies Releases Video For “All Kinda Crazy”


As promised, Suicidal Tendencies rang in 2019 with a brand new video for their song ‘All Kind Crazy’. The track comes from their 2018 album STill Cyco Punk After All These Years (Suicidal Records). The live performance clip was shot on tour last fall and features the punk rock, pulse-pounding feeling of what it’s like to throw down at an ST show. The video was recorded while on tour last fall, which included special performances of their self-titled debut album which turned 35 in 2018. In addition to leader/frontman Mike Muir, Suicidal Tendencies current lineup features guitarist Dean Pleasants, bassist Ra Diaz, drummer Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Dead Cross) and included special guest live guitarist Ben Weinman (ex Dillinger Escape Plan). Slipknot’s Jay Weinberg To Host Charity Concert For Best Buddies Foundation


 

Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg will host a one-night-only all-star concert for charity on October 16 at Basement East in Nashville, TN. The concert will be all covers and feature a multitude of stars from the Rock and Metal world, including Troy Sanders of Mastodon, Ben Weinman of The Dillinger Escape Plan/Suicidal Tendencies, Jack Gibson of Exodus, Steven Brodsky of Mutoid Man and Cave In, Jay’s father Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen and many more! 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit “Buddies on the Beat,” Weinberg’s charity through Best Buddies Tennessee – a nonprofit that creates one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.Continue reading
