Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, Limp Bizkit, and More Confirmed for Blue Ridge Rock Festival


Quickly shaping up to be the biggest music festival in the USA this year, Blue Ridge Rock festival has announced their full line-up of 180 bands. Headlining the massive 4 day festival are  Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin, and Limp Bizkit. There is a special club warm up show which includes headliner Ludacris, T-Pain, and Lil Jon. Also on tap: the Hellzapoppin Circus Sideshow Revue, a vaudeville freak show of wonder by Hellzapoppin’s Ringleader and Producer, Mr. Bryce “The Govna” Graves. In addition, excitingly, the festival will be hosted by Steve-O (MTV’s Jackass); and special guest Lou Brutus (SiriusXM).  The fest takes place September 9th – 12th at Blue Ridge Amphitheater, a long-awaited large-scale concert venue in Southwest Virginia.  Tickets are on sale now at the link below and here is the full lineup:

Foo Fighters and Rage Against The Machine to Headline Boston Calling 2022


Boston Calling, one of the East Coast’s biggest Indie and Alternative Rock festivals, would have taken place this weekend, if not for year two of the pandemic. The fest took a big step towards coming back stronger with the announcement of Foo Fighters and Rage Against The Machine as the headliners for next year! Slipknot, Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium and More Booked for Knotfest Iowa 2021


 


As usual, Slipknot does what other bands cannot. The band is bringing back their Knotfest event back home as Knotfest Iowa this September and it features a ton of bands such as The full line-up features Slipknot headlining, with Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb Of God, $uicide Boy$, Gojira, Trivium, Tech N9ne, FEVER 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper, and Vended.  The event will be the biggest heavy music festival to ever hit the mid-western state and will be held at National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, IA, on Saturday, September 25th. Tickets will be available on pre-sale to Knotfest.com subscribers from 10am Central time on today (Tues, May 25th), with a general on-sale from 10am Central on June 4th, at the link below. Slipknot has also announced they have returned to the studio to record their new album.

Cradle of Filth, Onslaught, Beholder, Ward XVI,and More Booked for Bloodstock 2021


Bloodstock Open Air (BOA) 2021 is a go and is about two and half months out at 85 days until the fest. In addition to adding a stacked extra night on Wednesday, the fest has announced some additions. Replacing Dimmu Borgir, who have vowed to return in 2022, Cradle of Filth joins the madness. Hot on the heels of their stellar livestream even, this promises to be huge. For the Wednesday bill, joining the fest are Onslaught, Beholder, Ward XVI, as well as Raised By Owls, RAISED and Anakim,  both move across to a Wednesday slot, from their previously announced Thursday.

Mudvayne Reunites After A 12-Year Break, Booked to Play All Four Danny Wimmer Presents 2021 Festivals


 

Mudvayne is back! As we reported they would several months ago, they have announced their return after a 12-year hiatus, and will be performing exclusively at all four Danny Wimmer Presents U.S. festivals in 2021: Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival (a headlining performance) in Ohio, Louder Than Life in Kentucky, Aftershock in California and Welcome To Rockville in Florida. Tuska Festival 2021 Canceled Due to The Pandemic, Set to Return in 2022


Another festival bites the dust due to the pandemic as Tuska Festival has been forced to cancel their 2021 event, and plan to rebook for 2022. Some rock and metal festivals worldwide are trying their best to bounce back from the last year, but in the case of Tuska, they didn’t feel like the conditions worked for hosting the fest. Tuska 2021 was to have been headlined by Korn, Deftones, Gojira, Devin Townsend, Baroness, insomnia,, Beast In Black, Eluveitie, Jinjer, Finntroll, High on Fire, Perturbator, Oranssi Pazuzu, Vltimas, Gaahls Wyrd, Korpiklaani, and many more.
