Jamey Jasta’s Milwaukee Metal Fest Adds Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens, and Pissing Razors

Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 has added a slew of new bands including Milwaukee Metal Fest Books Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens,  Pissing Razors, and many more. Machine Head is a particular coup for the fest since they rarely do festivals, and none in the USA for many, many years. Hatebreed frontman and podcaster Jamey Jasta purchased the rights to the fest name in 2022, the rebooted event will take place on Memorial Day Weekend at The Rave/Eagles club. Previously announced to head up the fest are Lamb of God, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Napalm Death, Dark Angel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Obituary, Shadows Fall, and many more will take part in the festival taking place Memorial Day Weekend 2023, May 25-27th,

Bloodstock Open Air 2023 Books Candlemass, Tribulation, Royal Republic, Employed To Serve, Witchsorrow, Wytch Hazel, Skin Failure, and More

Bloodstock Open Air 2023 (BOA) has announced a slew of new bands, filling out the Ronnie James Dio Main Stage, and Sophie Lancaster stage. Now on the bill are Candlemass (replacing Whitechapel who have dropped out), Tribulation, Royal Republic, Employed To Serve, Witchsorrow, Wytch Hazel, Skin Failure,  Bloodyard, Wolfbastard, Tribe Black Coast, Russkaja, Gaerea, and Striker. Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 has announced its comeback for 2023! The iconic, midwestern, multi-day event was the stuff of legends and is returning to prominence in 2023. Hatebreed frontman and podcaster Jamey Jasta purchased the rights last year and today announces the lineup for Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023. The Black Dahlia Murder Announces “The Verminous Remnant Tour” with Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth, and Phobophilic

The Black Dahlia Murder will return to the stage this Spring on “The Verminous Remnant Tour.” The band’s first trek following the tragic death of frontman Trevor Strnad will mark the close of the Verminous touring cycle and introduce a reformed lineup consisting of remaining and returning members of the band. The journey will commence on April 14th with an appearance at the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and run through May 26th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Support will be provided by Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth, and Phobophilic. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 20th at 10:00 am local time. See all confirmed dates below.

Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly has announced its flagship event for 2023, taking place once again at The Fillmore in Philadelphia. Taking place April 14-15, 2023, co-headlining the festival are Suicidal Tendencies (performing a special 40th anniversary set of the S/T album + hits) and the return of The Black Dahlia Murder. Joining them will be EyeHateGod, Incantation, Mizmor, Frozen Soul, All Out War, Undeath, and more! Tickets go on sale this Friday October 21st, 2022.

No better way than to start the year than with some new Death Metal is what I say. I’ve quit coffee and don’t touch Red Bull, so I need something to kick start the day. It’s a particularly cold winter here in New England and every time I check Twitter there is a freshly developed shitshow going on so the more extreme music the merrier. Long story short, thank you Frozen Soul for kicking in the 2021 door with Crypt of Ice (Century Media).
