Lamb Of God will be hitting the road this summer for their exclusive 2023 headline tour featuring special guests Ice Nine Kills, Suicide Silence, The Acacia Strain, Frozen Soul, and more across select dates. The band continues to support their 2022 album, Omens. Produced by Live Nation, the 8-city tour kicks off on August 10 at The Wellmont in Montclair making stops across the U.S. in St. Louis, Oklahoma, Las Vegas, Riverside and more. Tickets: Tickets will be available starting with artist presale beginning Tuesday, May 2. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, May 5 at 10am local time at the link below.

CONCERT REVIEW: The Black Dahlia Murder – Phobophilic – Fuming Mouth – Frozen Soul – Terror, Live at Irving Plaza

The night of April 16h, 2023, was a momentous occasion for music fans as Phobophilic, Fuming Mouth, Frozen Soul, Terror, and the New York return of The Black Dahlia Murder, shook the walls of Irving Plaza. With a revamped lineup for TBDM since the tragic passing of vocalist Trevor Strnad, I like a lot of people were curious to hear this new version. Guitarist Brian Eschbach took over vocals and replacing him is former guitarist, Ryan Knight, keeping it in the family. It was emotional, to say the least.

Jamey Jasta’s Milwaukee Metal Fest Adds Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens, and Pissing Razors

Milwaukee Metal Fest 2023 has added a slew of new bands including Milwaukee Metal Fest Books Machine Head, Deeds of Flesh, Angelus Apatrida, Midnight, Warbringer, Bodysnatcher, Vended, Malignancy, Morta Skuld, Ripper Owens,  Pissing Razors, and many more. Machine Head is a particular coup for the fest since they rarely do festivals, and none in the USA for many, many years. Hatebreed frontman and podcaster Jamey Jasta purchased the rights to the fest name in 2022, the rebooted event will take place on Memorial Day Weekend at The Rave/Eagles club. The Black Dahlia Murder Announces “The Verminous Remnant Tour” with Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth, and Phobophilic

The Black Dahlia Murder will return to the stage this Spring on “The Verminous Remnant Tour.” The band’s first trek following the tragic death of frontman Trevor Strnad will mark the close of the Verminous touring cycle and introduce a reformed lineup consisting of remaining and returning members of the band. The journey will commence on April 14th with an appearance at the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and run through May 26th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Support will be provided by Terror, Frozen Soul, Fuming Mouth, and Phobophilic. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 20th at 10:00 am local time. See all confirmed dates below.

Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly has announced its flagship event for 2023, taking place once again at The Fillmore in Philadelphia. Taking place April 14-15, 2023, co-headlining the festival are Suicidal Tendencies (performing a special 40th anniversary set of the S/T album + hits) and the return of The Black Dahlia Murder. ALBUM REVIEW: Frozen Soul – Crypt of Ice

No better way than to start the year than with some new Death Metal is what I say. I’ve quit coffee and don’t touch Red Bull, so I need something to kick start the day. It’s a particularly cold winter here in New England and every time I check Twitter there is a freshly developed shitshow going on so the more extreme music the merrier. Long story short, thank you Frozen Soul for kicking in the 2021 door with Crypt of Ice (Century Media).
