Baroness Books “Your Baroness – An Intimate Evening with Baroness”

Like most bands, Baroness have been off the road for the entirety of the pandemic era. That changes now as the band has booked “Your Baroness – An Intimate Evening with Baroness,” where ticket buyers will be provided with a link to cast their vote for the ten songs they want to hear at the show. Baroness’ entire catalog will be fair game with no song off limits. Voting will close one week prior to each performance. Tickets are on-sale this Friday, Oct. 1, at 10 am local time. COVID-19 protocols will vary by venue and municipality but all attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or have the option to provide a negative PCR test within 24 hours of the event (where allowed). All concertgoers will be required to wear masks. The band continues to support 2019’s Gold & Grey (Abraxan Hymns) album and are working on new music.

Tuska Festival 2021 Canceled Due to The Pandemic, Set to Return in 2022


Another festival bites the dust due to the pandemic as Tuska Festival has been forced to cancel their 2021 event, and plan to rebook for 2022. Some rock and metal festivals worldwide are trying their best to bounce back from the last year, but in the case of Tuska, they didn’t feel like the conditions worked for hosting the fest. Tuska 2021 was to have been headlined by Korn, Deftones, Gojira, Devin Townsend, Baroness, insomnia,, Beast In Black, Eluveitie, Jinjer, Finntroll, High on Fire, Perturbator, Oranssi Pazuzu, Vltimas, Gaahls Wyrd, Korpiklaani, and many more. Baroness to Release “Live at Maida Vale BBC – Vol. II” for Record Store Day Black Friday

Baroness has announced the release Live at Maida Vale BBC – Vol. II, a limited edition vinyl release featuring four tracks from the band’s Fall 2019 session at the famed London studio, as part of this year’s Record Store Day Black Friday event (Nov. 27, Abraxan Hymns). The release features black splatter vinyl with an etched b-side, custom artwork created by Baroness’ John Baizley, and will retail for $23.98.

Baroness to Perform “Gold and Grey” in Full on Upcoming Livestream

Heavy Rock legends Baroness will perform their last album Gold & Grey (review here) in full and live for the first time ever performance, on Sept. 10 at 8 pm Eastern as a livestream from Long Island City’s Culture Lab LIC at The Plaxall Gallery. Tickets, which are $14.99 and available now via the link below. The link will grant access to the premier livestream event as well as unlimited viewing for 48 hours beginning at the time of redemption. The concert is available throughout the weekend, ending at 11:59 pm Eastern on Sunday, Sept. 13. Download Festival will return for 2021, featuring headliners KISS, Biffy Clyro, and System Of A Down and many more bands including A Day To Remember, Mastodon, Control The Storm, Gender Roles, Jamie Lenman, Myles Kennedy & Company, Deftones, Korn, The Distillers, Steel Panther, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, The Darkness, Black Veil Brides, Creeper, Alestorm and The Pretty Reckless. Seventy-three bands in all have been announced! Tickets go on sale on August 7th at 9 AM GMT. More bands have yet to be announced.
