Architects Share New Single and Music Video – “Black Lungs”
UK Metalcore leaders Architects have shared a new single and music video from their upcoming new album, For Those Who Wish To Exist will be released on February 26th through Epitaph Records. The post-apocalyptic scenes depicted in the clip for “Black Lungs” “calls for us to examine the role we are currently playing in the destruction of the world with barren landscapes, and foreshadowing of extinction.” Check it out now!

Architects will be performing an exclusive live streaming event from the stunning surrounding of The Royal Albert Hall in London, on November the 21st via Veeps, with tickets going on sale Friday 23rd October at 9am from the link below. This week the band shared a new single and video for the track “Animals”. ALBUM REVIEW: Sylosis – Cycle of Suffering
So, Cycle of Suffering (Nuclear Blast) is Sylosis‘ post-hiatus album? Considering how tight the musicianship is and the sense of urgency you could’ve told me that this was released six months after Dormant Heart, and I would’ve bought the lie hook, line, and sinker. It comes as no surprise that this year’s Aftershock Festival was once again sold out. I mean, how could it not with big-name talents such as Slipknot, Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Blink-182, Lamb of God, Dropkick Murphys, Marilyn Manson, Bad Religion, Chevelle, and many others. And with the über-early announcement of next year’s headliner—Metallica, for those of you living under a rock—there’s no question that 2020’s Aftershock will sell out as well. Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, Fever333, Bloodstock Open Air and More Win at The Heavy Music Awards
The third annual Heavy Music Awards were announced last night at a packed O2 Forum Kentish Town, hosted by Laura Jane Grace alongside live performances by Cancer Bats, Loathe, Nova Twins and Delaire The Liar. For the third year in a row, Architects took home a major win with two awards here – the first time any winner has picked up multiple awards at the same HMAs. The Brighton act picked up Best Album for Holy Hell, as well as Best Live Band. Other bands that won include Bring Me The Horizon, Parkway Drive, Fever333, Bloodstock Open Air for best festival, Dream State, photographer Paul Harries and more. Metallica, Ghost, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Idles Win Big at the Annual Kerrang! Awards
Kerrang! Magazine held their annual awards ceremony and party last night Islington Assembly Hall as the world’s biggest rock stars came out in force. Winners and attendees included legendary artists such as Metallica, Motörhead, Jimmy Page, Skunk Anansie, current Kerrang! cover stars Ghost, FEVER 333, Architects, IDLES, Enter Shikari, and Don Broco. Jimmy Page was honored with the Icon Award, while Metallica again won Best International Act. Motörhead won the inspiration award. The Kerrang! FESTIVAL REVIEW: Sonic Temple 2019
The debut of the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival capped off the Danny Wimmer Presents 2019 spring festival season with sold-out crowds of 120,000 at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, OH, May 17, 18 & 19. It was a fest for the ages and one of the best lineups in the history of “The Worlds Loudest Month”, the signature of Danny Wimmer Presents music festival experiences. In addition to massive performances from Foo Fighters, System Of A Down, Disturbed, Ghost, Papa Roach and Lamb of God, the weekend offered one-of-a-kind art experiences, including legendary street artist RISK, art installations, live mural painting, live screen-printing and the popular Art Tent.
