Laura Jane Grace Shares a New Single and Video for “I’m Not A Cop”



Laura Jane Grace has just dropped the official music video for “I’m Not A Cop,” via the Polyvinyl Record Co. label. This is the latest single to be lifted from Grace’s recent studio album, Hole In My Head. The Jonathan Richman-inspired video features Grace playing Reno 911-esque pretend with her wife, Paris Campbell Grace, and is directed by filmmaking trio Weird Life Films. Grace and her band, the Mississippi Medicals, also just announced headline dates across the U.S. midwest, south and east coast for September. Support will be provided by Catbite and Taylor Hollingsworth. Find the new video, live listings, and more below.

Ghost Cult Keefy caught up with Punk Rock legend Inge Johansson (ex  Against Me!, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Cryssis, CSS) to discuss their new band Gatuplan! The band just released their debut album “Välkommen till underjorden” (Welcome To The Underground) via Sound Pollution Records and is Johansson’s first foray into leading their own band. Acclaimed artist and author Laura Jane Grace (Against Me!) has dropped her second solo release of the pandemic with At War With The Silverfish EP, released on her own Big Scary Monsters label. The seven-song effort follows along the raw, stripped-down nature of 2020’s essential Stay Alive release, and recorded in halves between at Grace’s TinyQuietStudio in Chicago and at Electric Eel in St. Louis, and mixed by Marc Hudson, her bandmate in Devouring Mothers. The EP is available to stream on all DSPs.

Laura Jane Grace (Against Me) Drops a Surprise Solo Album – “Stay Alive” 


Iconic Rocker Laura Jane Grace of Against Me! and The Devouring Mothers has released a surprise digital album today on all streaming platforms. The album Stay Alive (Big Scary Monsters) was created during the pandemic and recorded in July by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio. The physical release will arrive on December 11th. Against Me! Cancels Their May North American Co-Headline Tour With Baroness

More coronavirus-related cancelations abound as Against Me! and Baroness have been forced to totally cancel their co-headlining tour slated to kick off in a few weeks. Originally scheduled from Friday, May 1 – Saturday, May 30. The run was to visit parts of the Midwest, Pacific Northwest, American and Canadian west coast, Southwest and East Coast of the U.S. and feature support from Destroy Boys and Drug Church on select dates. Baroness Books Co-Headline Tour Dates with Against Me! For North American


6/14/2019, Rough Trade Records, Ghostcult Magazine, Brooklyn.

Baroness has booked a co-headline tour with Against Me! For this spring in North America. Dates begin on May 1 at Detroit’s Majestic Theatre. Destroy Boys support on the first half of the tour, with Drug Church supporting on the second half. Baroness continues. The band will venture to Australia before returning to the U.S. Tickets for the newly announced, North American shows are on-sale this Friday at 10:00 am local time with a limited number of pre-sale tickets available Wednesday at 10:00 am local time.
