The time is nigh! The epic Monolith On The Mesa Music festival kicks off tonight in Taos, New Mexico, with their pre-party! Amon the throngs of people descending on Taos will be our contest winner Stephanie Montoya who won weekend passes for her and a friend to the fest! Thank for everyone who entered. Taking place May 17-18 with Pre-Festival Party On May 16th, the fest includes stellar acts from across multiple sub-genres including stoner rock, heavy psych, doom metal, sludge, drone, and retro roc such as Om, The Obsessed, Dead Meadow, The Well, Tia Carrera, Wovenhand, Pinkish Black, Castle, Crypt Trip, EYE, Wino solo (unplugged), True Widow and many more! Eyehategod – The Obsessed – Antiseen Live at Little Harpeth Brewery Nashville, TN
Resting in one of the more industrial parts of East Nashville is the beloved Little Harpeth Brewery. They serve award-winning German lagers and occasionally host some of the best heavy metal shows in town. Their rugged, warehouse space filled with kegs and fermentation equipment makes a rather enjoyable environment for live music. Friday night their spacious taproom was abuzz with anticipation for one of the most notable NOLA acts in the world, Eyehategod. The fest had added the final dozen bands including an entire stage takeover from the incredible Black Deer festival! Brutal Assault 2019 has added another bunch of bands for the next edition of the festival! One-hundred and thirty bands will play in the ancient and legendary Josefov Fortress castle on four stages all weekend from 7 -10 August 2019.
