This year’s Damnation Festival is the second since it has returned to its original home of Manchester after many years at the University of Leeds. FESTIVAL REVIEW: ArcTanGent Festival 2023 Live at Fernhill Farm


 

ArcTanGent Festival, a yearly outdoor four-day fixture at Fernhill Farm near Bristol, attracts a devoted following to its niche yet eclectic lineups of artists who generally have an association with post-rock, progressive metal, or experimental rock. It’s “sort of” a metal festival, but the range of acts it showcases steers towards the more left-field and eccentric end of heavy music and at times stretches beyond what could reasonably even be labelled as “rock”.

Arctangent Festival 2023 Announces Their Final Main Stage Headliner Devin Townsend


The mighty Arctangent Festival 2023 today announces their final main stage headliner for this year’s event, The incredible, truly one-of-a-kind Devin Townsend will be closing out the whole festival on the main stage, Saturday night. Ohhms – Exist


Hailing from Canterbury, UK, Ohhms specialise in long, doomy dirges. Their first two EPs – 2014’s Bloom and 2015’s Cold – along with last year’s debut full-length The Fool established them as the one the country’s go-to acts for 20-minute long deep dives into all things slow and heavy. FESTIVAL PREVIEW: Damnation Festival 2018


Damnation Festival, the long-running extreme underground one-dayer in the UK, takes place once again at Leeds University for the 13th edition. Headlined by Napalm Death, Ihsahn (exclusive UK appearance), Entombed A.D., Vader, Annal Nathrakh and also featuring Batoushka, The Ocean, Ne Obliviscaris, Celeste, Rosetta and more. Damnation Festival Adds Cancer, Bong, Monuments, Vola And More


Damnation Festival has closed the loop on the band lineup announcements for 2018, with the addition of Cancer, Monuments, Bong, Vola, Hundred Year Old Man, and Lik. Lik is a supergroup featuring members of Bloodbath and Katatonia. 2018 marks the 14th installment of the festival, hosted by Leeds University Union on Saturday, November 3. Tickets are on sale now.
