Metal Blade Records has just welcomed all-star heavy metal band, Category 7, into the fold. The new band features vocalist John Bush, guitarists Phil Demmel and Mike Orlando, bassist Jack Gibson, and drummer Jason Bittner, all drawn from such legendary acts as Armored Saint, ex-Anthrax, Adrenaline Mob, ex-Machine Head, Violence, Kerry King, Overkill, Exodus, and Shadows Fall. Rock supergroup Sonic Universe (cocalist Corey Glover of Living Colour, Disciples of Verity, Mike Orlando of Adrnaline Mob – bassis Booker King and drummer Taykwuan Jackson have shared a new single – “Higher!” The band has signed a worldwide deal with earMUSIC for their debut album It Is What It Is scheduled for release on May 10th, 2024. The 10-song album was produced, engineered, and mixed by Mike Orlando at Sonic Stomp Studios. The debut video from the album “I Am” premieres today. Adrenaline Mob – We The People


I gotta admit, I liked Adrenaline Mob’s second disk Men of Honor. It was great for doing cardio. So, I had a good feeling going into We The People (both Century Media). It didn’t disappoint. We The People is the same hard-driving, pristine, Heavy Metal album Adrenaline Mob’s predecessor was. Adding David Zablidowsky on bass and Jordan Cannata on drums, We The People exhibits a healthy rhythm section that has us all breathing a sigh of relief. I honestly didn’t think it would “work” without AJ Pero, but bless! I’m happy this album is as strong as it is. Continue reading

Adrenaline Mob Streaming “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”

Adrenaline Mob is streaming a guitar driven version of “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” from their Dearly Departed covers EP, out now via Century Media Records, here.

In a departure from their 2013 covers release Coverta the disc will feature in addition to 4 cover tunes, an unreleased track from the Men of Honor sessions, 3 acoustic renditions of songs from both Omerta and Men of Honor, and an edited version of the Men of Honor track “Dearly Departed.”

The disc, co produced by vocalist Russell Allen and guitarist Mike Orlando, features the following tracks:
