Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival Announces 2022 Onsite Entertainment and Unique Food Offerings

Coming this summer Inkcarceration Music and Tattoo Festival, the annual Heavy Music, Tattoo, and food experience fest is coming back to the infamous Ohio State Reformatory In Mansfield, Ohio this July 15th-17th, 2022. The fest is headed up by Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Disturbed, Papa Roach, Falling in Reverse, Lamb of God, Three Days Grace, Seether, and tons of other bands! The fest also features more than 60 famous artists, self-guided tours of the prison made famous in The Shawshank Redemption & “Escape From Blood Prison” Haunted House. Hosted by SiriusXM’s Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin, Inkcarceration has now unveiled their onsite entertainment and a wide variety of food options for the event.

Headlined by Korn, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and Evanescence and also featuring Lamb Of God, Papa Roach, Seether, Falling In Reverse, Three Days Grace, I Prevail, Black Label Society, Theory Of A Deadman, Black Veil Brides, Jelly Roll and more! Taking place July 15th – 17th, music fans will converge for three days of nonstop music, tattooing, haunted attractions, and more, all held on the historic grounds of the Ohio State Reformatory (made famous by the movie “The Shawshank Redemption”) located in Mansfield, Ohio.

When We Were Young Festival 2022 Books My Chemical Romance, Paramore, AFI, Alkaline Trio, and More

Let’s take it way back to Warped Tour ca. 2004 as When We Were Young Festival has announced their 2022 lineup. A Punk, Emo, and Metalcore kids dream, the lineup includes headliners My Chemical Romance and Paramore. Other bands on the bill include Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, The Linda Lindas, Alkaline Trio, Thursday, AFI, Meet Me @ The Altar, Avril Lavigne, Senses Fail, The Wonder Years, ADTR, Ice Nine Kills, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, Atreyu, Four Year Strong, Palaye Royale, Acceptance, Anberlin, Knocked Loose, Silverstein, Bright Eyes, Dance Gavin Dance and more are among the bands announced. The festival will take place October 22 at Las Vegas Festival Grounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets go on sale January 21. Check out the lineup and the ticket link below.

I Prevail Shares a New Single and Video “DOA” ft. Joyner Lucas

I Prevail have today dropped a new video for the song ‘DOA,’ featuring rapper Joyner Lucas who has celebrated a Platinum-certified album & a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Song for his co-write and feature on Eminem’s ‘Lucky You’. The video has a trigger warning for graphic violence, viewer discretion is advised. I Prevail previously shot videos that provoke conversations around depression, anxiety, physical abuse and many more so it makes sense they address prevalent issues in the states with ‘DOA’.

Rebel Rock Fest Books Machine Gun Kelly and Members of Wu-Tang Clan

Rebel Rock Fest Presented By Monster Energy is the news festival added to the fall concert season. The fest has added Friday night headline artist Machine Gun Kelly, and Saturday act Legendary Wu, featuring Wu-Tang Clan members Ghostface Killah, Raekwon The Chef, and Killah Priest. They join a stacked lineup that already includes Judas Priest on their 50 Years of heavy Metal Tour, Limp Bizkit, Trivium, Sabaton, Sevendust, Fuel, I Prevail, Skillet, Wage War, All That Remains, Anti-Flag, Cold, Attila, Diamante, Them Evils, Cherry Bombs, Saul and more! Tool, Cage The Elephant, and Gary Clark Jr. Win for Metal and Rock at the 62nd Grammy Awards

The Grammy Awards announced their winners for the Rock and Metal categories for the 2020 award ceremony, their 62nd edition. Tool won for the Best Metal Performance category for the song ‘7empest’ from their album Fear Inoculum (Tool Dissectional/RCA). Tool members Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor were in attendance to collect the award, which was announced before the broadcast portion of the show. Gary Clark Jr. who was nominated over several categories for multiple tracks won both Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for the track ‘This Land’. Best Rock album honors went to Cage the Elephant for Social Cues. In the more pop-orientated Alternative Rock category, Vampire Weekend won, while other Rock and Metal related artists such as Chris Cornell won for the packaging of his posthumous self-titled boxed set, and The Best Instrumental Album went to metal fans and sometimes cover artists Rodrigo y Gabriella for Mettavolution (ATO Records) The 62nd Grammy Awards are once again hosted by Alicia Keys and will air on CBS.

The Grammy Awards announced their nominees for 2020’s award ceremony, the 62nd edition. Among the nominees across the rock and metal categories are Tool, Bring Me The Horizon, Candlemass (featuring Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath), Death Angel, Killswitch Engage, I Prevail, Rival Sons, Cage The Elephant, Karen O, Bon Iver, Gary Clark Junior and more! You can see all the categories and nominees below. Tool has actually won multiple Grammy awards while Death Angel has never been nominated. Bring Me The Horizon has been nominated for their album Amo (Columbia Records). In the more popular categories, pop sensation Billie Eilish was nominated across all the major categories, a rare feat for a teenager.
