The emergence of bands like Misþyrming, Svartidauði, Naðra, and Almyrkvi have helped build the foundation of the Icelandic extreme metal scene to come into existence. Aside from the said bands I mentioned, now here we have Helfró as a part of the rising forces of the Icelandic extreme metal scene as well, being the formidable force in the world of Blackened Death Metal that they are.

Helfró Share New Single “’Traðkandi Blómin í eigin Hjartagarði” with Visualizer Video
With their second album, Tálgröf, coming December 01st on Season of Mist records, Icelandic extreme metallers, Helfró, have just released the platter’s third single. “Traðkandi Blómin í eigin Hjartagarði” (“Trampling the Flowers in Your Own Heart’s Garden” in English), explores the facets of humanity’s worst killers, and comes with its own visualizer video. Helfró Share “Ildi Óhreins Anda” Single and Video – New Album Coming Soon
Iceland’s Helfró are back with “Ildi Óhreins Anda,” the second single off their sophomore album. Translating to “Oxygen for the Unclean Spirit”, focuses on “humanity’s exceptional ability to deceive.” The full-length, Tálgröf, is due out December 01st via Season of Mist records.
