Riot Fest has made the final weekend additions to the 2021 event, kicking off September 19th, 2021, which will be the fest’s first-ever Thursday Preview Party. Patti Smith and Her Band and Alkaline Trio will join Thursday night, with additional sets from Joyce Manor (performing their self-titled 2011 debut), WDRL, and Kristeen Young. As for Sunday, The Flaming Lips will return to Riot Fest on Sunday, bringing the fest-favorites back to Douglass Park on September 19 to replace Pixies. Sunday attendees will also get into the Thursday Preview Party for free, with a host of freshly-announced perks included. Tickets are on sale now at the link below.

COVID-19 Crowdfunding Campaign Launched to Support The Worcester Palladium and The Webster Theater
An Indiegogo campaign has been launched to support the employees of both The Worcester Palladium and Webster theatre, two venues in New England that have been hosts to thousands of metal, hardcore, and rock shows and countless other events for decades. Both venues are operated by Mass Concerts, and the fundraiser is to bring relief aid to their workers due to the cancellation from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In addition to hosting now retired events such as The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and the Rock N Shock Convention, last years amazing Self Help Fest by A Day To Remember the venues have hosted bands such as Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Chelsea Grin, Ensiferum, Evanescence, Eyes on Satellites, Fall Out Boy, Fathom Farewell, Four Year Strong, Gov’t Mule, Gwar, Hatebreed, Ice Nine Kills, In Honor Of, Jerry Garcia Band, Jimmy Eat World, Kanye West, King Diamond, Korn, Logic, Motionless in White, My Chemical Romance, Nightwish, Of Mice & Men, Periphery, Protest the Hero, Reveille, Rob Zombie, Senses Fail, Sic Vita, Slayer, Sonata Arctica, Soundgarden, Straight Line Stitch, Suicide Silence, Twelve Foot Ninja, Twenty One Pilots, Tyler The Creator, Whitechapel, Wiz Khalifa, and Years Since the Storm. Silverstein Announces Rescheduled North American Tour Dates, New Album Out Now!
Silverstein just released their killer new album A Beautiful Place To Drown, out now via UNFD. The band had booked a special 20th Anniversary tour, featuring three sets from the legendary band, with direct support from Four Year Strong, and I The Mighty. Now the band has rescheduled the tour dates that were canceled or postponed for July and August with continued support slots from Four Year Strong and I The Mighty. All existing tickets and VIP upgrades will be honored on the new dates. Slam Dunk Festival France to Debut in 2020, Books The Used, Four Year Strong and More!
The wildly successful Slam Dunk Festival is coming to Paris France this spring. The European version of the UK’s best independent alternative festival for pop-punk and rock will take place on May Bank Holiday Weekend and has booked The Used, Four Year Strong, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, Grayscale, and Landmvrks. Five more bands will be added to the fest taking over two venues in Paris, France on Saturday 30th at La Boule Noir and La Cigale. The 2020 UK Slam Dunk will take place at Leeds Temple Newsam and Hatfield Park on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May. The two adjacent venues are set to welcome 10 outstanding artists; five of which have been announced today.
