Blue Ridge Rock Festival is Officially Canceled for 2024, Organizers Vow to Refund 2024 Sold Tickets

Blue Ridge Rock Festival saga continues! the festival has officially canceled their 2024 event, months after saying they were still trying to hold one in 2024. The festival organizers put out a statement on social media and their website, which you can read below. The article indicates refunds will be issued for the tickets they tried to claim they did not sell for 2024, and they may yet come back for 2025. According to a previously published report by our partners at Lambgoat.com, following the news that Blue Ridge Rock Festival was attempting to sell 2024 passes prior to refunding 2023 ticket holders from last year’s canceled event, BRRF executive producer Cara Fischer gave the statement to local news outlet WDBJ7 clarifying tickets are not on sale and this issue was made worse by the festival’s “outdated website.” As you may recall, the 2023 event was woefully mismanaged before there were severe weather events that impacted bands and fans. Post-Punk and New Wave festival Cruel World Fest has announced its full stage times for the returning festival in the Los Angeles area next weekend. New England Metal & Hardcore Fest 2024 has added the comeback of Year of The Knife, in their first live performance since their horrific and life threatening van accident in June 2023. The band released their amazing album No Love Lost via Pure Noise Records last year. The two-day extravaganza will take place on September 21 and 22 at the Palladium. Sick New World Festival 2024 Announces Stage Times, Draws Outrage From Fans

Following a huge debut in 2023 year, Sick New World kicks off this weekend to Las Vegas Festival Grounds, on April 27, 2024 with an enormous collection of the world’s biggest hard rock, alternative, and up and coming artists. Headlined by System Of A Down, Slipknot with Bring Me The Horizon, A Perfect Circle, Alice In Chains, Danny Elfman, Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Knocked Loose, and many more among the 65 total bands. The festival has released its stage times and fans who have purchased tickets are expressing outrage on social media with some selling their tickets and vowing not to go. New England Metal and Hardcore Fest 2024 Books Killswitch Engage, Converge, Machine Head, Suicidal Tendencies, As I Lay Dying, Bane, Overkill, Better Lovers, Nails, and More

New England Metal & Hardcore Fest launched back in 1999 and took place at the famed Palladium in Worcester through 2018. It was often held over two or three days, with multiple stages and top-tier acts like Megadeth, Manowar, DragonForce, Opeth, Between the Buried & Me, Meshuggah, Killswitch Engage, Suicidal Tendencies, Anthrax, and more appearing through the years. It was always a “who’s who” of the metal and hardcore scene and was a “not to be missed” event each Spring. It took a brief break after 2018 but returned to much fanfare in 2023 with Parkway Drive, Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and more. Today, the 2024 edition has been announced and the lineup is stacked. It features literally every single band you’d want to see at a metal and hardcore festival. The two-day extravaganza will take place on September 21 and 22 at the Palladium.
