Deftones Chino Moreno Unsure The Band Will Meet Its Goal of a Summer 2020 Release

In a new interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music, Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno chatted for a brief interview “At Home With” playlist. Chino talked about the forthcoming Deftones album, the 10th anniversary of Diamond Eyes, working with longtime producer Terry Date, how the band has stayed together so long and overcome hardships, his approach to vocals, making music every day, and the possibility of re-releasing White Pony. Specifically, Chino cast some doubt on the bands’ new album seeing a summer release without being able to tour behind it. Cypress Hill to Host Livestream Q and A for the 20th Anniversary of their “Skull and Bones” Album

Cypress Hill will celebrate its 2000 album, the epic Rap and Metal double album Skull and Bones (Columbia) today with a livestream Q & A from the band. The album, best known for their huge hit singles ‘Rap Superstar’ and ‘Rock Superstar’, is one of the groups ‘ best and features guest turns from Everlast, Eminem, N.O.R.E., Christian Olde Wolbers (now formerly of) and Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine, and Chino Moreno of Deftones. Hellfest 2020 is Officially Canceled, 2021 Fest Announced

Crushing news for the summer festival season in Europe, as France’s legendary Hellfest, has been canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The festival announced today it was unable to host the festival, which takes place in Clisson, France, outside of Paris. Hellfest 2021 is already announced for next summer. The 2020 edition was to have had Faith No More, and Down will be joined by Deftones, System Of A Down, Incubus, Korn, Mastodon, Opeth, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, The Offspring, Infectious Grooves, The Darkness, Obituary, Death DTA (the Death tribute featuring members of Death), At The Gates, Entombed AD, Sacred Reich, Devin Townsend, Meshuggah, The Black Dahlia Murder, Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Mayhem, Abbath, Rotting Christ, Primordial, The Great Old Ones, Wardruna, The Hu, Taake, Watain, Alcest, Borknagar, Gaahl’s Wyrd, Electric Wizard, Baroness, Om, Witchcraft, Black Mountain, Elder, ASG, Envy, Mono, John Garcia & the Band of Gold, High On Fire, Pelican, Killing Joke, Perturbator, Life of Agony, 3TEETH, Inter Arma, Body Count, Suicidal Tendencies, Youth of Today, Slapshot, Jesus Piece, Higher Power, Social Distortion, Anti-Flag, Agnostic Front, Reverend Horton Heat, Grade 2, Code Orange, and more. Download 2020 is Officially Canceled

The 2020 edition of Download UK festival has officially been canceled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The event was set to take place on June 12-14 at Castle Donington, with headlining performances by Iron Maiden, KISS and System Of A Down with additional bands such as Deftones, Korn, The Offspring, Disturbed, Gojira, Alestorm, Black Veil Brides, Daughtry, and Of Mice & Men and many more. Deftones Announces a Full US Tour with Gojira and Poppy

Deftones have announced their much-rumored North American headlining tour this summer, with support coming from Gojira and Poppy. The Live Nation-produced twenty tour date run, which will kick off on July 27 and conclude on September 5, will go on sale to the general public this Friday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. local time. Citi is the official presale credit card of the Deftones summer tour 2020. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase presale tickets beginning Tuesday, February 11tat 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST until Thursday, February 13 at 10 p.m. local time through Citi Entertainment.
