Canadian extreme music festival Loud As Hell announces it will be accepting band submissions for their 2024 lineup being held from August 2nd to 4th at the Dinosaur Downs Stampede Grounds in Drumheller, AB. Saint Andrew’s Hall is one of Detroit’s hot spots for catching a good show. The Live Nation owned venue hosts all genres and caters particularly well to the heavier ones. Last week, Deathcore sweethearts, Lorna Shore brought their The Pain Remains Tour to town to support their new album. This month-long, stateside run is every ear gauged kid’s dream. With an impressive span of openers to add incentive, there is a reason why this show sold out.
Lorna Shore will kick off a run of European tour dates and festivals this coming weekend, as they being the push towards their new album, Pain Remains. The band has also booked a follow-up run of dates – a North American headline tour with Aborted, Ingested, AngelMaker and Ov Sulfur starting on October 21st in Philly and wrapping on November 20th in Montreal. VIP ticket packages will be available to purchase for each show, which will include a ticket to the show, meet and greet with Lorna Shore, an exclusive VIP t-shirt, a souvenir laminate with a lanyard, a signed poster, a tote bag, an enamel pin and early entry. General admission tickets go on sale starting August 5th at 10AM local time (ticket links below) and VIP tickets will be available on August 4th at 10AM ET/7AM PT, below.
Decrepit Birth, currently co-headlining the Bloodletting North America Tour have had a mishap. Vocalist Bill Robinson leaped off the stage at their last show and ended up breaking his femur when no one in the crowd attempted to catch him last night at Club Red in Mesa, Arizona. The band has announced they will miss the next few shows of the tour with also features Arsis, Internal Bleeding, Pyrexia, Angelmaker, and Within Destruction. Continue reading
Death metal legends Internal Bleeding has signed a new record deal with death metal and progressive label Unique Leader Records. They will bring a new album, Corrupting Influence, on October 19th. The band will share new music and pre-orders bundles soon. IT will be the first album to feature guitarist Chris McCarthy and drummer Kyle Eddy, following the tragic passing of Bill Tolley last year.
