Metallica Cancels Its Vinyl Subscription Club for 2023 Due to Global Vinyl Delays 


Metallica has sent a message out to subscribers of their vinyl Subscription Club that they are suspending the club for 2023, with no idea when it will resume in the future. Citing the demand for vinyl and global level delays, they canceled arguably the most successful vinyl subclub for rock or metal. The synthwave and electro-rock music duo made up of Deftones’ frontman Chino Moreno and Far producer/ multi-instrumentalist Shaun Lopez has been teasing us for over a year with singles, a top-tier cover, and pulse-quickening videos as they readied their new EP, Permanent.Radiant (Warner Music Group). Fit in and around Chino’s heavy schedule with Deftones and Shaun’s producing work, the new EP continues to build upon the path they laid out, minus former collaborator Chuck Doom, who has departed the project.

Led Zeppelin to Host “Celebration Day” Streaming Event This Weekend 


On a day in 2007, Fifteen years ago this weekend, Led Zeppelin performed a reunion concert as part of a charity concert. The historic show at London’s O2 Arena, was turned into a 2012 concert album and DVD/Blu-ray Celebration Day. For the anniversary this weekend, Saturday, December 10, at 8 p.m. U.K. / 3 p.m. EST / 12 p.m. PST will broadcast the entire performance on the official Led Zeppelin YouTube channel. ALBUM REVIEW: Other Half – Soft Action


 

Hailing from Norwich, England, post-hardcore trio Other Half have put out their second album Soft Action (Big Scary Monsters), consolidating their presence in the modern punk scene. It is a record that keeps the adrenaline pumping throughout its fourteen-track run-through and brings solid production to an otherwise disorderly DIY kind of tone. Despite its title, the album is anything but soft.
