Finnish folk metallers, Ensiferum, are due to share headlining duties with Korpiklaani on a North American tour in 2025. Running from February 27th in Boston, Massachusetts through March 30th in Brooklyn, New York, Ensiferum perform in support of their upcoming full-length, Winter Storm, out October 18th through Metal Blade Records. The Dread Crew Of Oddwood Drop Single and Video for “Leather Ship” with New Album On The Horizon
Southern California’s The Dread Crew Of Oddwood have just shared their latest single, “Leather Ship,” with a video directed by Jackalope Studio, LA. It is taken from the band’s fifth album, Rust & Glory, which is due for independent release on March 15th, with formats including limited 250 copy runs of both their ‘oceania’ and ‘red with black splatter’ vinyl variants. With the weather nothing like the crispy oven-cooked hellfire of last year’s Summerpocalypse, Bloodstock is a much happier place this year, and not even the first downpour of the weekend can dampen the spirits. Especially as today is Corpse-paint Day where everyone is invited to daub themselves in black and white make-up and become angry badgers for the next few hours.
KK’s Priest Replaces Helloween for Bloodstock Open Air, Festival Kicks Off Today
Final preparations are ready for this weekend’s Bloodstock Open Air, kicking off today, the 10th of August through the 14th at Catton Park, Derbyshire. Sad news as Helloween has been forced out of the fest due to a last-minute illness. They are being replaced by KK’s Priest, led by former Judas Priest guitarist KK Downing.
