Season Three of “The Bear” Features Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys, Refused, Smashing Pumpkins, James, Radiohead, and More


Season three of the acclaimed FX/Hulu show The Bear is streaming all of its episodes. The series, set in the world of restaurants and chefs in Chicago has always had excellent music and this season is no different. The new episodes feature songs from Nine Inch Nails (and several tracks by Oscar winners Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross), Beastie Boys, Refused, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Taylor Swift (a repeat artist over three seasons), Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Kate Bush, and more. ALBUM REVIEW: Puscifer – Existential Reckoning : Rewired


Puscifer will always be best known as one of the many creative outlets for Tool / A Perfect Circle vocalist Maynard James Keenan, and as an avenue for the most obscure depths of his musical creativity. But the band has always been a collaborative affair, with Keenan working alongside many different artists over the years, with their albums subsequently always providing an infusion of many different ideas and experiences. Existential Reckoning : Rewired (Puscifer Entertainment / Alchemy Recordings/ BMG) is the remix accompaniment to their 2020 album, which itself was a typically avant-garde electro-rock melting pot of futuristic and otherworldly sounds.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Scored Bird Box Movie, Listen To “Outside” Now


 

The Bird Box horror/thriller movie on Netflix has swept the country this week. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails have scored the film, although it wasn’t touted at the time of release. Now Trent has shared his thoughts on the fan reaction to the film and shared a track, “Outside”. Reznor and Ross have won numerous awards for their scores for films such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network, Gone Girl, Man on Fire and The Fourth Estate.Continue reading


Nine Inch Nails To Compose The Soundtrack To HBO’s Watchmen Series


Nine Inch Nails duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have been garnering respect and awards for the stellar soundtrack work the last few years on projects such as The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl, Patriots Day, The Vietnam War, and The Fourth Estate. Now they have been hired to compose original music for HBO’s adaptation of DC Comics’ Watchmen graphic novel series. HBO’s often has legendary composers and soundtrack artists for their programs such as Ramin Djwadi, Jeff Beal, and Wendy and Lisa. Created by Alan Moore (V for VendettaWatchmen is one of the most acclaimed graphic novels of all time and the movie adaption in 2009 was fairly well received. The new series from Warner Bros. Television is among HBO’s most-anticipated series for next year. Showrunner/exec producer Damon Lindelof, fresh off of his acclaimed HBO drama The Leftovers. Nine Inch Nails To Release New Soundtrack Album


Already expected to release a new EP soon, the prolific Nine Inch Nails bros of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have composed the theme for the forthcoming Showtime series The Fourth Estate. The four-part series is expected to “examine the inner workings of The New York Times during President Donald J.
