So sorry, I’m a lil hungover, I was at this crazy house party last night. It was my friend’s birthday and he invited all his friends to jam out! It was insane. There were a ton of people. There were two levels to this place. The top level held three full drum kits and two lounge / living room areas with sofas. This was connected to the lower level by staircases (featuring fully functional stair lifts for the old man), and featured a ping pong table and rock em – sock em robots. It was great to see the members of the bands just hanging out and partying while randomly picking up their instruments and playing their favorite original songs. Continue reading

ALBUM REVIEW: Puscifer – Existential Reckoning : Rewired
Puscifer will always be best known as one of the many creative outlets for Tool / A Perfect Circle vocalist Maynard James Keenan, and as an avenue for the most obscure depths of his musical creativity. But the band has always been a collaborative affair, with Keenan working alongside many different artists over the years, with their albums subsequently always providing an infusion of many different ideas and experiences. Existential Reckoning : Rewired (Puscifer Entertainment / Alchemy Recordings/ BMG) is the remix accompaniment to their 2020 album, which itself was a typically avant-garde electro-rock melting pot of futuristic and otherworldly sounds.
Tool Confirms “10,000 Days” Collectable Coming Soon
Earlier this week, Tool began teasing something related to their 10,000 Days album. They have shared another teaser on Instagram, touting a collectible involving that album coming soon. We don’t know exactly what it is, but we are excited! Other than releasing pricey vinyl collections, Tool has been ominously mum since the end of their Fear Inoculum World Tour earlier this year. In a recent interview with Rick Beato, frontman Maynard James Keenan laid out the next year of activity for one of his bands – Puscifer, who has been super busy with live streams, and new live-in-the-studio albums coming soon.
Tool is Teasing Something “10,000 Days” Related
Other than releasing pricey vinyl collections, Tool has been ominously mum since the end of their Fear Inoculum World Tour earlier this year. In a recent interview with Rick Beato, frontman Maynard James Keenan laid out the next year of activity for one of his bands – Puscifer, who has been super busy with live streams, and new live-in-the-studio albums coming soon. Yet, little mention of Tool or a perfect circle. As first reported by Metal Injection, the band is now teasing something cool, possibly related to their classic album 10,000 Days, which had a 15 year anniversary in 2021. We will follow up when we know more!

CONCERT REVIEW: Tool – Blonde Redhead: Live at The Chase Center
By my own admission, I have been to some weird Tool shows in my nearly thirty years as a fan. Some of them have been weird thanks to the band, and some have been weird, because well I’m (not a creep), a weirdo. One of my last shows before the world shut down was Tool at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, complete with an army of relentless rent-a-guards practically assaulting fans due to the notorious Tool cell phone policy. I’ve no issue with the policy, just the way it is implemented. Tonight was by far the weirdest Tool show ever for many reasons.
