Norway’s Beyond the Gates festival is to present special collaboration between Behemoth frontman, Nergal and Misþyrming. They mark the 30th anniversary of Behemoth’s seminal debut, Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic), playing the entire record live. Vitriol’s Headlining North American Tour Kicks Off Soon

Death metallers, Vitriol, embark on a North American headline run from November 6, with support from Unmerciful and Weeping Death. Maryland Deathfest to Return in 2024

In a statement posted on social media, Maryland Deathfest has announced they will return! After a hiatus for 2023 the fest will return from May 23rd to May 26th, 2024. In a message to fans the co-founders of MDF discussed the hiatus and the the return as well as new dates for 2024. MDF 2024 will be their 20th fest in Baltimore. They did announce that aftert the upcoming London Desertfest, they are discontinuing all other festivals they have put on, Netherlands Deathfest, California Deathfest, and more will be no more. Fire In The Mountains has booked another mini-wave of new bands for the 2019 festival. Blood Incantation, Un and Osi and The Jupiter have all joined the bill. This is in addition to last week’s announcement of The Ruins Of Beverast, Saor, and Munly And The Lupercalians, FITM takes place July 12th, 13th and 14th outside of Jackson, Wyoming. More bands coming soon! The fest will once again include camping at nearby Heart Six Ranch. Attendees can eat, drink, and camp on location and will also have access to sponsored hiking trips, whitewater rafting, backpacking, fishing, canoeing, horseback rides, and other outdoor activities during daytime hours preceding the musical performances in the evening.
