One of my favorite things about living in the Bay Area is the sheer number and variety of metal shows on a weekly basis. There’s nothing else quite like it and one can always find something new to step outside their musical comfort zone. This week was no exception as I booked it across the bridge to DNA Lounge in San Francisco to hear The Convalescence, W.o.R, and Yes Devil.
Metal and Rock Festivals are back! Inkcarceration Festival 2021 is a go as the first Danny Wimmer Presents fest we will get this year. The major lineup features Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Mudvayne, A Day To Remember, Mastodon, Chevelle, Killswitch Engage, Beartooth, Motionless In White, Asking Alexandria, Steel Panther, and more bands as well. Taking place at the historic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio, September 10, 11 & 12th, the fest also features 75+ Tattoo Artists & Complimentary Tours Of The Prison Made Famous In The Shawshank Redemption.
