Painted Shield are notable for featuring Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam/Mother Love Bone/Green River) on guitar and a bunch of friends. Painted Shield’s origins can be traced to 2014 when it was suggested by Daniel Field a mutual friend of Mason Jennings and Gossard that the two work together. Supergroup Painted Shield (Pearl Jam) Share New Single and Video “Transector” from Incoming Album
Seattle, WA-based supergroup, Painted Shield, have returned with details of their forthcoming LP, Painted Shield 3. The album is due for release July 26, 2024 via Loosegroove Records. The band have also shared the album’s lead track, “Transector,” serving simultaneously as the follow-up to last year’s “Blue Crystal” single.
