Northwest Hesh Fest is this coming weekend in Portland OR, September 19th – and it looks awesome! Headlined by Red Fang, and featuring appearances by Acid King, Witch Mountain, Big Business, Necrot, Fat Tony, Lord Dying, Nebula, Sasquatch, Holy Grove, and many more. We caught up with Johnny Gaylon, the booker of the fest and past events in Portland and at places such as South By Southwest (SXSW), and we learned about his past history in the scene, just what goes into booking the fest and why downtown Portland rules for events like this! Desertfest Announces Final Bands, Stage Times

Desertfest London is around the corner with just a month to go before the eighth edition. The fest had added the final dozen bands including an entire stage takeover from the incredible Black Deer festival! Their Sunday curation stage welcomes The Devonshire Arms, The Vanguards, The Fargo Railroad Co., The Southern Companion, The Outlaw Orchestra and more have been added such as Whoremoan, Cities of Mars, Orbital Junction, Drore, Årabrot, Vokonis, The Great Machine, and Wren. Heavy Psych Sounds Announces Exclusive Festival U.S. Tour Dates

Heavy Psych Sounds, one of the best labels in the world for stoner rock, doom and sludge has announced a limited engagement of festivals in the USA.
