Mamaleek Share Their Single and Video “Legion of Bottom Deck Dealers” – New Album Incoming



San Francisco Bay Area’s Mamaleek have just shared their latest single, “Legion of Bottom Deck Dealers,” alongside a music video directed by multi-disciplinary artist Henry Kaiser. Chat Pile Share a Single and Video for “I Am Dog Now” – New Album Coming Soon



Oklahoma City noise rockers, Chat Pile, have just launched their brand new single, “I Am Dog Now,” along with a music video, directed by Will Mecca. It comes from their new full-length, Cool World, the follow up to 2022’s breakout album God’s Country. The new 10-song LP is set for release on October 11th via The Flenser record label. Eric Livingston, Drummer for Black Metal Band Mamaleek, Has Died


Mamaleek Drummer and multi-instrumentalist Eric Livingston, who spent many years in the underground metal scene in The Bay Area, has died. He was just 38 years old. The band has confirmed his passing in a post to Facebook. He joined the band in 2015, playing drums on the album Via Dolorosa, 2020’s Come & See, and 2022’s Diner Coffee (The Flenser label). Livingston also created artwork for bands like Mr. Bungle and Dead Cross, as well as art for Mamaleek. The band has confirmed memorial performances at Roadburn and Oblivion Access, but future plans beyond that are unclear. RIP.

Roadburn 2020 Officially Canceled, Next Year’s Festival Announced


 

Roadburn Festival has exhausted all thoughts of holding a festival in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. They have announced that Roadburn 2021 will take place on 15-18 April 2021. Tickets purchased for the 2020 edition will remain valid and fans can just show up next year and enjoy the festival. Announcements about the lineup are forthcoming, and in terms of bands returning for 2021, it looks promising. Roadburn is far and away the best and most vital underground metal festival in the world, Roadburn has announced that the festival is postponed due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic. The fest was scheduled for April 16th and 19th in Tilburg, NL. Curators for 2020 were scheduled to be Emma Ruth Rundle and James Kent (Perturbator) with commissioned pieces including James Kent & Johannes Persson (Cult of Luna), Jo Quail Presents “The Cartographer”, Vile Creature & Bismuth: “A Hymn Of Loss And Hope, and a career-spanning set from Julie Christmas, which included new music-making a debut, and many more.
