Inferno Festival Norway has announced the next set of bands to play at their 2025 edition, April 17-20 in Oslo, NO. The festival now welcomes Abbath Doom Occulta among the headliners – performing a special set from his career with his former band – as well as Cadaver, Kirkebrann, Negative Plane, Udåd, Malum, Feral Nature, and Vingulmork. 2024 marks ArcTanGent’s 10th anniversary. Taking place across five stages at Fernhill Farm near Bristol, the festival specialises in progressive, largely heavy music. It is metal-orientated, but the festival’s remit also extends to other styles including indie and electronic music. FESTIVAL REVIEW: Roadburn Festival 2023


 

Let’s get one thing out of the way, Roadburn is still the premier underground fest that it has always been. I know so many people who went into this year’s fest expecting it to be their last, saying the lineup wasn’t for them, or that they didn’t like this change or that change. But I can tell you, they have all already booked rooms and bought tickets for next year. Change isn’t bad.

INTERVIEW: John Cxnnor Discusses Their New Live Album with The Devil’s Trade, and Roadburn Festival 2023


 

As part of our preview of  Roadburn Festival 2023, Ghost Cult Keefy interviewed Rasmus and Ketil a.k.a. John Cxnnor! The duo, who also have the hardcore band LLNN, are curating a special presentation and curated performance at Roadburn this year. In addition, they are releasing their collaborative live album with The Devil’s Trade –  “Live At Roadburn” album out April 21 via  Pelagic Records.  The guys discussed the genesis of the project, how they connected with Roadburn founder and artistic director Walter Hoejimakers, touring,  future plans for both projects and their favorite Terminator flick!
