After dropping their brutal new single last week ‘Fuck Love’, All That Remains have announced their new album dubbed Victim Of The New Disease, due out from Fearless Records out on November 9th. The band also shared a killer video for the single as well which you can watch below. The band also booked a winter tour of Europe with Sevendust.
The Word Alive is no stranger to a changing lineup. In 2016, drummer Luke Holland left the band to pursue other creative projects and last August veteran, Daniel Shapiro left for the same reason. But that didn’t stop the Arizona natives from carrying on. The now threesome has created Violent Noise (Fearless): a 12-track album that proves they are not close to calling it quits.
Underoath’s history has been a roller coaster of emotions and lineup changes. They were one of the most recognizable names in the Metalcore scene in the 2000s. Even without putting out new material, fans still showed up for the Florida natives who did reunion shows and tours in those eight barren years—indulging in the Christian Metalcore they are known for. By now considered metalcore stalwarts, August Burns Red have always proved a reliable and popular outfit without ever reaching the creative or commercial heights of many of their peers; yet have successfully carved somewhat of a niche in the genre. Whilst never seeming close to toppling the likes of Killswitch Engage or Parkway Drive off their perches, they have produced a consistently decent catalogue and have settled into the notion of their music being fun and (at least attempting to be) anthemic throughout, whilst also never being afraid to shy away from the samey and stagnant structures that plague many in the genre.
