New Day New Chef is a brand new Vegan cooking series, hosted by vegan author and journalist Jane Velez-Mitchell, that has debuted on PBS and Amazon Prime. In the premiere episode, the celebrity co-star was no other than artists and activist Otep Shamaya of OTEP. OTEP helped interview guests, provide her own journey toward leading a plant-based lifestyle, discussed her music career, her athletic achievements, and even joked about moshing at one point. Foo Fighters Book 25th Anniversary “Van Tour”
Foo Fighters have booked a spring tour celebrating their 25th anniversary since their debut album. Beginning April 12 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix AZ, the Foo Fighters’ 2020 Van Tour will do just that, hitting a number of the same spots that Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel and Pat Smear trailblazed in a Dodge van all those years ago—in arenas this time. Opeth Cancels Shows Due to Mikael Åkerfeldt’s Case of Laryngitis
Opeth is now on a North American Tour supporting last year’s stellar album In Cauda Venenum, released last year via Moderbolaget / Nuclear Blast Records, with Graveyard as direct support. Frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt and is being forced to cancel tonight’s performance in Worcester Massachusetts, followed by the next two shows. The band will hopefully resume this Friday in New York for their two landmark shows at The famed Apollo Theater in Harlem. Åkerfeldt broke the news of the cancellation earlier today in a social media post. Ozzy Osbourne Officially Cancels The “No More Tours 2 2020 Tour”
Rough news as Heavy Metal legend Ozzy Osbourne has canceled his entire 2020 North American“No More Tours 2” tour. According to a statement from Ozzy’s publicist, he is headed over to Europe for additional medical treatments this spring, as a result of his ongoing battle with Parkinsons’ Disease and other injuries as a result of a fall in his home in early 2019. The decision to cancel the tour rather than postpone and rebook again was made to accommodate fans who’ve been holding tickets for rescheduled shows and have been asked to change plans, some multiple times. Following promotional obligations for his new Ordinary Man album (out February 21), Ozzy will continue to seek medical treatment. Marilyn Manson was to support all dates in 2020 in the USA. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase. All refunds, including fees, will be returned directly to the credit card used.
