Paramore has taken to social media to clarify their recent activities which alarmed fans that the band was headed for a hiatus or another break up. The band has stated their contract with their former label, Atlantic Records is done and they are fully DIY and independent, and expect to be for a long time. They also announced they are the Record Store Day Ambassadors for 2024. Their comeback album This is Why (Atlantic Records) was one of the Ghost Cult, staff-voted Albums of The Year for 2023. Paramore Deletes Their Website and Wipes Their Social Accounts Clean After Casting Doubt on Their Future
One of the stories of the last few years in Rock was the return of Paramore, and their comeback album This is Why (Atlantic Records). it was one of the Ghost Cult, staff-voted Albums of The Year. The band toured the world and had top billing and prime slots at major festivals. After an article claiming the band were free agents after their new album and opening up a debate on the future of the band, they have now deleted their website, and wiped their Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts clean, updated with a blank profile picture. Paramore’s profile picture on Facebook has been changed to the same image as IG, but their old posts are still there. The band does have some tour dates with Taylor Swift, and festivals on the books for 2024, so we will learn what this all means. After almost six years since releasing music and an indefinite hiatus, beloved trio Paramore have returned with their sixth studio album, This Is Why (Atlantic Records). Much like their last two albums, this is another one that is best experienced with no expectations…meaning it is no Riot! Part 2 or even After Laughter – the sequel, and hoping so will set you up for disappointment.
